Even though Mario is LGBT, I don't really have any particular ship for him in mind. But nevertheless, there are some solid ships in the Mario Universe and I'm sure there are some great ideas out there from a Mario fan-works community on them.
Wario & Waluigi make an adorable couple, I think there was a Dorkly comic about that. Great stuff.
Double Dash had some pretty solid ships in general. King Boo and Petey Piranha was never one I could think of on my own but it's pretty good.
