How sad! I never read the comics but what little I've seen is very good. These comics will surely be missed.

At the very least, it seems they're doing it for artistic integrity instead of the money. It's pretty weak reasoning given how high-quality the comics are, though.

You don't like the cartoon, from what I've seen, quite a number of people find it enjoyable.

It should've been obvious that it was for me. I shouldn't HAVE to do that. If I didn't put everyone, then it should've been the clue to tell that it was MY opinion.

Yes you should, you left it ambiguous so of course people will think you're talking generally.

Kritter, your an adult, you should've realized that I was specifically talking about ME. In a normal conversation, people could tell that it would be in my opinion. Why? Because it is obvious. That is the 1st thought that would come into the person's mind

f*** it, why am I wasting my time arguing? I know I'll get warned, yet I keep doing it.

It's how the English language works, it's got nothing to do with me.

Pity that you ruined a potentially useful topic with arguing when you could've said "Well it's the only good Sonic thing that I personally like" or something instead of going straight for "hey f*** you, f*** everyone rawwwwghthhthhg"

There's a thing or two that you should really learn.

If everybody on the forum misunderstands what you said, maybe the problem isn't everybody else, maybe it's just that you didn't clearly say what you meant.

Even if you did say exactly what you meant and people still misunderstood you, the mature thing to do would be to restate yourself more clearly so that they'll understand, and move on, not get defensive about it.

What you said wasn't specific about who would think that it was the last enjoyable thing about Sonic. It could've just meant you, it could've meant everyone, it could've meant your cat. But typically when somebody says something like that, it would be meant to imply that most people, generally, find that to be the only enjoyable thing about Sonic.

Thatgamerguy2234 wrote:

The issue is more with how angry you get, and your casual use of swear words. Disagreeing, and even standing your ground, aren't really ways to get warned. You've generally got to be rude or showing an immature side to get warned.

Your right. I get angered easily, and can't really control it.

Not to like, start something, but I agree with gamerguy here. I thought it would be pretty obvious that he was talking about himself. I mean, how could it not be his opinion? Enjoyability is very subjective so it could ONLY be his opinion.

Lets turn this trainwreck around.

My wife was a fairly avid collector of the comics for quite a while, she's got well over a hundred but they're tucked away somewhere. I'd love to collect the Archive Books though to bolster the collection. They were always good for a read and I would've KILLED for the comics as a kid because I was a massive Sonic fan as a young boy. I actually cried when they stopped showing Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog on TV before school when I was young because I loved it. If this is true then it's really a shame but also fairly unsurprising seeing as Sonic's presence isn't as huge as it used to be.

I always wished the comics were canon in a way so we'd see more of the comic characters in the games. I liked the idea of an extended universe as opposed to the usual cast of characters we normally get in the games, always the same locations and same stories.

I'm glad to hear that the Sonic Boom cartoon is good. I've been wanting to indulge in some cheesy-but-good video game television.

Well crap, there goes the last enjoyable thing related to Sonic.

They cancelled Mania?!

But yeah, I was never super into the comics for some reason or another. Maybe I just found them hard to follow. But either way, it's still a shame that it's coming to an end.

Is there any word on if this affects the Mega Man comic?

i think the mega man comic's been finished for a while now

i think focusing purely on riverdale is really stupid for both sales reasons and integrity reasons and archie sonic's been good lately so i doubt it'll be the same even if another publisher picks it up

unless it will be the same, in which case, i hope another publisher picks it up

Well, the comic was not even canon at all, just a very long continuation of the SatAM canon. I feel Archie only cares about the $ (despite Sonic being a money-maker), and the new trend of grittiness and darkness, that is shown in Riverdale.
