Post times you felt ignored on MFGG. Me: my birthday

Posting an uninteresting topic nobody cared to reply to This has once happened, but I can't remember what the topic was, lol

During the dying days of the first phpBB forums, I posted a topic for [url=http://wiki.mfgg.net/index.php?title=Goo]a game I made[/url] and it got zero replies. It was hardly my greatest work ever, although it would've been nice if someone had seen it, played it, and offered some feedback.

Happens to me all the time, really. Generally, I figure what I did is any of a few factors at that point. 1. Difficult to comment on 2. Not interesting 3. Overlooked 4. I've scared people away somehow. Among other things. It can be anything, and generally I just move on... Also, you are able to post a birthday thread for yourself. Sometimes people will make one for you, other times they simply cannot. It's also not uncommon for the usual announcement at the bottom of the forum index to break. To say that you've been ignored, only by this aspect alone, just isn't right.

last i checked birthday threads made for yourself get shut down but i'm not the mod

I believe I once posted a Megaman room transition engine that got zero replies, but that's been ages ago.

no, i'm not.

I don't think it's a good idea to shut down birthday topic. But I also wouldn't encourage making birthday topics for yourself, since it looks a bit like you want some attention, at least that's how it looks to me.

And a number of others which the creator requested locked when they noticed someone else had already posted one. But not one that I can remember, which was only on the premise, that the person made it for themselves.
