Fan on the power supply? I'm afraid you can't do that buddy for sake of your safety. Power supply is deadly when opened and I recommend you get a new power supply.

Arg. I'll just open up the side and use a powered fan for beefier applications like I have been.
Actually, looking at pictures of the power supply, it's a third fan.
The fan that isn't functioning is in front of the power/reset buttons. It probably isn't connected.

It's me again.
My sound system is acting wonky. I have a speaker box under the desk, and I have 3 speakers, a left, middle, and right one. I have to position the box just right to where the speakers work. It's a Logitech X350.

My guess is the filament in the wires connecting the speakers has broken apart. This is unfortunately really common, especially if the unit gets moved around a bunch.

I would check all of the connections before coming to this conclusion.
You may have to replace all of the wires in the unit.

I checked and untangled every single wire after making the post, The wires just have to be pushed up against the side of something. Thanks for the diagnosis, though.

I have an issue with my sound card; whenever I try to use headphones on my computer, the sound only plays out of one ear. But the weirdest part is that when I test it on my computer, it works in both ears just fine. I've checked the balance settings and they're all fine. Is there something else I'm missing? I'm running Realtek HD Audio Driver.
EDIT: Never mind. It must've just been one thing.

This is often caused by the thin copper filament in the headphone wire breaking, due to common wear and tear.
Have you tried a different pair of headphones?

Actually, there was nothing wrong. It was just the specific media I was viewing.

now that you mention it, i often have one side of my headphones crap out on me after owning them for a while. is this unavoidable? if so, do you know any ways i could prevent it?

There are a few things. Unfortunately, it does come with common wear and tear. these steps can only help so much.
Some are common sense, some are not, but here is the general spill.

- Do not allow the cord to be pulled tight.
- Be careful not to tie the cord in knots.
- Avoid allowing the cord to become twisted.
- If cord becomes twisted, carefully unwind by elevating the cord by holding the headphones, and letting the jack dangle.
- Never unplug the jack by pulling on the cord.
- Avoid bumping the jack and/or kinking the wire at all costs. (This is the most common cause of one speaker going out unless the jack is held in a specific place, not unrepairable, but a royal pain in the ass to solder the wire back to the jack.)

These may not be perfect, but they should help extend the life of your headphones. (especially that last step.)

If the cord becomes dry/stiff/begins to crack. some pliability may be restored by applying "Silicone Lubricant" (Use only on the cord, never on the speakers. allow to dry, and wipe off the excess afterward.)
Keeping the cord flexible may help prevent kinking.

This may make me dumb as a tech but my laptop has a charger issue. It works sometimes. While the charger is working, it makes loud static sound. (Hopefully no electric fire) Wonder should I order a new one online and wait for a new charger for 2 weeks OR tamper it and keep using it (which I think is not a safe way).

That sounds dangerous.
I would seek a replacement, immediately, as that thing is on the verge of burning out.

I have a laptop charger issue too. My laptop used to stop charging sometimes. I used to remove this cable (I don't know its name.) to fix it. But today while I was trying to connect the cable, fuse blown instantly. Now the charger has a disgusting smell. My laptop was open and it didn't close when fuse was blown. And my laptop doesn't charge anymore. Does my laptop effected by this?

Often in cases were a laptop wont charge unless the cable is held in a specific place, or in random intervals, there has been internal damage to the DC input (That hole you plug the cord in to).
Most often it's just a case of cracked solder balls.

What it sounds like might have happened in your case, is the damage was spread far enough, that it created a short circuit in the jack, thus popping the fuse (Which is in place to prevent an electrical fire, or killing your laptop)

I'm afraid that charger is toast at this point. throw it away, and purchase a replacement.
If you know a technician (or have a nerdy neighbor) you might get them to check the DC input port and see if it can be repaired.

As for your laptop, and the data on it, if it didn't shut off immediately, and went to battery power, my bet is it's just fine.

I got a new charger (after read this) And it's working. It seems my DC input is fine. I can charge my computer normally. It seems I'm very lucky. :D
Thank you.

My brother and I decided to install a new graphics card - it's Nvidia Geforce GT 630. It's much better than the one I used to have, but the problem is in OpenGL. I tried to run Minecraft, but it said on the main menu that OpenGL 2.1 or higher is needed so the game could be run without bugs. Now if I select version 1.6.4 it works, but in version 1.7.2 it doesn't. Can I somehow upgrade OpenGL or am I doomed to play only the past versions of Minecraft :( ?

You can easily update OpenGL, since it's a software driver.

Just do a Google search for "OpenGL" it should be one of the first results.
I would normally lend a hand on this part, but I can't do squat over this dialup connection.
