i downloaded those drivers, but the problem is that it says i require windows 98 second edition. i've got the last revision of windows 95, and it still fails to work; is there some way you could upload the contents of the installer or something so i could put them in manually?

hmm, looks like for whatever reason Windows 95 isnt supported. (This Bites, cause im sure i got it from their before)
I should have backed up the driver install for the one i got to work before i last redid my windows 95, (remember i noted this thing was problematic)

Time to hit google!
Looks like this is going to be a bit of trial and error, I will let you know when/If i get one to work.
Here goes.

Hey, sorry if this isn't in the right place but I was wondering if any of you guys on the team have experience with the Kindle Fire?

I'm trying to get the soundtrack of a game I like by playing it, but don't know of a way to record audio with it.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but have you tried a male to male audio cable + Audacity?

I'm trying to rip a soundtrack of an app in Kindle Fire.
I was going to rip said soundtrack by using some sort of tool that records audio in the Kindle Fire.

And no, I haven't even thought of that...nor have I ever heard of a male to male audio cable, (and when I try to record with audacity, it producess a really poor quality background noise) but thanks for the idea! If I ever get obtain on of those cables I'll try it out.

Something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0000932A ... 15-1777601

Make sure your computer have the "Line-in" jack which is usually blue colored. If you have a laptop, tough luck buddy, very few laptops have "Line-in" jack.

so, I seem to have run into a bit of a snag myself after formatting,
(Yeah, not something I usually recommend without good reason, and I have my reasons for doing so on my own system.)

Though this isnt a critical program that I reinstall, (be nice if i could though)
VMware Workstation has been a royal pain, and ive already been through the sites entire help section trying to make it work properly, like it was before I formatted.
Has anyone else hit this snag?
If so, has anyone gotten around it?

Image

This error is being thrown during the install process, after all the files are dumped from the installer
after seeing it, the entire program all of a sudden deletes itself.

I believe there's something called Intel Virtualization that was build on certain and fast processors. VM Ware requires a fairly modern host machine to run it. My best choice for you is VirtualBox.

Or you need to reobtain the vmware installation OR make sure none of your driver in unindentified.

PS: could I possibly write a guide how to install iOS7?

Go for it, you technically own 1/5th of this thread,

Okay! managed to get around that one,

Seems Norton (which i hadn't removed yet) was knocking it out.

after spending all day actually getting this installed, here is the diagnosis, and fix.
Diagnosis: software level conflict with antivirus protocols. (Not a false positive)
Fix: Uninstall antivirus software for the duration of the installation process. (Disabling is not sufficient)

Be sure that you reinstall your antivirus afterward, It is a very important piece of software that you have!

Okay, got a tech question now because as I was powering my home computer desktop, I'm running into the problem of my computer itself freezing up every time I start an application. On some, it runs fine for a few minutes, then freezes up on me. The worse part is when I reset my computer and try again, same result. Is this a sign that I would have to take it to my local computer repair shop for a diagnostic check or if the problem's too extreme that I just see about getting a new desktop computer altogether?

Please let me know soon so that I can decide on what to do next. The fangame materials that I have are on that same computer. Thanks in advance for your help on this.

The solutions below works well on a PC, for macs, I'll reply it later:

If possible, (the computer techs might have already tried it) run your computer in safe mode and perform a virus/malware check. Maybe even do a registry repair from Ccleaner.

If that doesn't work. Boot your computer from a Linux disk(no installation) and backup your files to your flashdrive or an external hard drive. Then install a fresh OS on your computer.

^ I think I may have found the culprit behind it all, and it looks like the installed sound card might be to blame for why my home computer's been freezing up every few minutes after I have fully booted up the system. Is there a possibly solution to get this remedied so that it can operate normally again, or is it a case which I have to take it in for servicing? (And I really hope it's just a "take it in for servicing" issue.)

I would check the sound card manufacturers website and make sure you are using the latest drivers.

There's nothing wrong with the skin. Making boo floating above the avatar has its purpose for the skin and it's very easy to write the code.

Double post AND bump but
There's a fan in front of the power and reset buttons in my computer, but it doesn't work.
However, there's on on the side that does, on the other hand.
Any thoughts?

Probably a broken fan or it's not connected anywhere to the motherboard. Another question, please specify whether your computer is a PC/Laptop/other.

PC, TR2-500W, model TR2-500NL2NC, couldn't get a good look at the fan's model though.
