I would say that referring to smart phones as a game console based on the types of games on them would be like calling Facebook or some other site with simplistic games a console. But PCs are formidable competition for game consoles. You can set them up with gamepads and stuff too, Ry.

If we were talking about software platforms for games, such as Steam then yeah I don't see why it wouldn't belong any more than a PC in a game console thread.
