As we move forward with the investigation I think it's important to remember what DDD is saying here. We have no concrete evidence as to who did this vandalization. It may be a troublemaker from the chat. It might be a member of either forum. It could be a complete internet stranger who clicked the design doc link in OP. The only evidence we have that the vandalization even happened is the history of the Google document:

No Google+ account, no username, no location, no IP. Just a completely anonymous person. It's important we don't finger-point at either community because it would just pervade the problem. I've personally found the MW influx to be very disorienting but I don't think anyone there has bad blood towards MFGG.
