Congratulations on winning an award for being friendly, Char! You seemed quite friendly from what I've seen of your posts. I would certainly like to see you around here again, and I'm sure many others would like to see you return too.

Char kinda helped teach me how to program, so he was a big inspiration for me. Plus I talked to him daily. Cool guy

And finally, we have our least happy MFGG Award - Saddest Celebrity Death. It's little surprise that Carrie Fisher won this, considering that her mom passed away the day after she did. It's two bad things for the price of one, I suppose.

And that concludes this year's MFGG Awards! Here's one more round of applause for everyone who took the time to participate in the nominations and final voting, and for all of our awesome winners and nominees!

Man, I still think it's sad that Princess Leia's actor died. :( Anyway, I would like to congratulate everybody that managed to win at least one award in MFGG Awards 2016! You all deserved it! I was quite glad to see that I managed to win 3 awards in MFGG Awards 2016. :soveryhappy:

Could've been better for me, but I'm not complaining. Getting 2 awards is still pretty good!
I guess I should do even better next year!

Also congrats to everyone else, especially Will.

Congratulations, everyone!
And thanks to everyone who voted me as Best Programmer!

That award should've probably gone to HylianDev, Guinea or TheShyGuy, but I'll take it nonetheless ;D
I'll keep posting cool stuff for you in 2017!

Congrats Coco, you certainly deserve it.

All the votes made me try out Khimera and it was rather frustrating, I certainly don't see what's so good about it to win Best Game. Something I'm missing here or what?

You all did and made some awesome stuff. Congratulations to all the winners, and nominees as well!

On the note of me winning a fun category, thanks a ton to y'all that voted for Batbro! I wound up putting the awards badge Vinny gave me back into storage, though. I don't think the little fun categories at the end should produce Awards badges. Thanks again anyway, though! That is, to Vinny and y'all that threw votes at ol' Batbro. The kind words are also appreciated.

>no awards won
Ah well. Maybe 2017 will be a better year for me. Congrats to everyone that won something! You did good.
Hey, you did get a couple of Game of the Month awards. Instead of a teeny tiny profile picture, you got grand ol' sig pictures. You've done some good stuff, either way!

ALSO, I feel like a shoutout to our good pal Yoshbert is necessary. He might not have taken home any voted awards, but he's been a massive help with the mainsite queue and reports. This probably shouldn't go unappreciated.

Oops. Let's go ahead and set that straight, then! I'll go ahead and do it since I have a copy of the award results. It's a prettified Excel file from the VinnyVideo.

What was the greatest or perhaps most intriguing sort of place for a game to occur within? Maybe it was a setting that reminded us of another great setting. Whatever the case, the people have decided upon Birdo vs Macintosh. Congratulations, Vim!

Welp, that settles it. I gotta finish that dang ol' game now. The people have spoken!

Thanks everyone (belatedly, but it's nobody's fault here really!) for voting for truly the most '90s setting ever. I hope Birdo vs. Macintosh will make you all smile in that sort of dumb, smile-y way!

To be fair, if memory serves I kind of had an unfair advantage here. Mario Visits His Great Uncle in the USSR, Birdo vs. Macintosh, and Super Charisma Bros. 8 were all nominated for Best Setting and they all happen to be made by me.

Back in July 2016, I created eight MFGG Awards Winner badges, and I decided to show them to VinnyVideo last night. He said that he'll discuss with the other staff members about them. He also said that I may feel free to show them in this topic, which, I decided to do so. Here are they:

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Any thoughts on them? Is there a specific one you would like to see get used as the MFGG Awards 2016 Winner badge? I personally think the second and third ones are the best.
