For a game to be eligible for MFGG Awards, it has to be released or worked on during the calendar year of 2016. My understanding is that Super Rolling Mario was made in 2009, but it was never publicly released until 2016. This means it's eligible for MFGG Awards. Be careful when making joke votes, however - a few ironic votes can be all it takes for a non-serious game to leapfrog a game that's actually deserving of the award.
Fun Fact: Unlike some previous years, members and games are sorted by the number of nominations they received in their respective categories. Don't read too much into this, though - there were lots and lots of ties, and Microsoft Excel's sorting feature put all ties in a random-ish order (not alphabetically).
It had a public release. I think it was in FD's tumblr or something but I'm 100% sure I played and finished it in 2015.
But it doesn't really matter, it's not like it's gonna win or something
