Hypernova decided to be a cool person by updating the GM topic icon. The old icon was based on the GM 7 logo, and it's been a long time since a significant portion of the MFGG community used GM 7. Thanks a bunch. Hypernova made a few other icons, too. What do y'all think of these? 3DS:  Wii U:  Mobile:  Indie:

The new GM icon looks pretty cool to me, even though it kind of clashes with the other game-making tool icons a bit (though, it doesn't bother me very much). I also like the new topic icons, although I feel like the Indie topic icon might decrease the usefulness value of the Original topic icon. |

I almost think that the Indie icon could replace the Original one, as it is. I like the 3ds, and Mobile icons, although I almost think that the WiiU icon should follow sute with the other console icons, perhaps even reducing it to Nintendo, and using a console logo. I have to wonder, is it possible to get a Construct Icon in the mix? or are we already full-up? |

The 3DS logo looks good, but I think it's better if you switch the Splatoon icon to a sprite of the console for the Wii U one... |

I think you linked the same icon twice there, Vinny. I went ahead and edited your post to show the new awesome GM icon. Glad to see it finally got updated - it looks a lot better, too. As for the other icons - I think they are pretty neat though Indie does indeed clash with the Original one a bit - though Indie is a better term I guess. I kinda like the red Sonic, though. I think an Inkling for the Wii U logo fits well enough. It's a bit weird, I gotta admit, but I don't think using an actual Wii U console as the icon would look particularly good on that scale. What could work however, is the blue square with the cut out U that's used in the Wii U's logo. |

Yes, I do personally feel my own indie/Game Maker icons clash with the other icons. As for Game Maker, the new logo does not mix well with the gray gradient background. As for Indie icon, I can go ahead and make changes to it soon. As for Wii U, well I tried to make it match with the Wii icon where Mario is there instead of the logo. |
