Games take time to complete, so we have demos to keep us satisfied until a full release! The winner for Best Demo goes to Super Mario Flashback by Mors!

Up next, we have the Best Non-Mario Game, because even MFGG has non-Mario stuff. The winner this time is Sporklops, also by Thunder Dragon!

Hahaha, what.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad y'all are looking forward to it and all, but... none of you have even played it. ;P
Seriously, thank you -- but still, I'm pretty sure the other nominees had actual, playable material. Material that I'm sure, no doubt, is beyond the engine testing phase. Unlike Sporklops. So, again, thank you all, I love you folks, but surely, there were better choices than this at the moment.

Do we have to play it to know it's awesome.

Also what the heck?! I was expecting 1 or 2 awards but 3?!? This is awesome!

Lots of games aren't even the length of games; that's why the term minigame exists. It's also why we have a Best Minigame award, and the one taking home this title is The Flooded Tower! This tower is flooded by fun, that's for sure.

Games need plenty of things to appeal to a player, and sprites are one of the more important parts out there. The game that has the best sprites this year is The Midas Machine! What else can you expect when it's being sprited by the winner of the Best Sprites award?

I think your games tend to get a little too much hype, but that's just me.

I didn't say both of them, did I?

The engine is perhaps the most vital aspect of any game, and we have an award specifically for the Best Engine! This award goes to Super Mario Flashback!

Games simply wouldn't be games without good level design. Which game has the best levels that will leave you wanting more? That goes to Toadette Strikes!

Polish is one of the most important tools a game developer can use, and that's why we have a Most Polished award. Super Mario Flashback has the most polish out of them all! Congratulations!

If you've been living under a rock, then you'll know how it feels to be overlooked. The Most Overlooked award goes to Snifit Scramble and Super Fangame Maker!
