[size=200][b]MFGG Awards 2015[/size][/b] Our little blue planet has successfully completed another lap around the sun, and that also means that it's time to recognize the brightest stars in our fangaming galaxy! As a reminder, MFGG Awards consists of two phases - the Nomination Phase and the Voting Phase. In the Nomination Phase, you nominate a name (in the individual categories) or a game title (in the games categories). The five people/games with the most nominations per category will move on to the final voting in two weeks. After the final voting ends, the staff will tally the winners and announce them in another topic. The winners receive an MFGG Awards 2015 badge. Who knows - somebody might even nominate you! I noticed that the nominations end on January 14, which is not really on Monday, but instead its on Thursday. You might want to fix that.

Corny: Depends on how much of the team project you contributed. If you did enough work to be eligible to receive an MFGG Awards badge for that game, you shouldn't vote for it yourself. Imaginary Cake: Since usernames don't change often, I replaced "Best Username" with "Best Avatar" to keep things hopping. The Fun Awards section is subject to change every year, so you're missing out on Sexiest Dictator this year. Q-Nova: Good catch! I nominate you for MFGGer Who Notices Everything. Friendly Dictator: Yes, the Best 3-D Game category tends to be fruitful for a certain Austrian MFGGer. Part of the reason this category exists is to encourage more MFGGers to submit 3-D games.

I don't think anyone would start learning making 3d games just for a badge. That's a silly reason to add an award. That's like adding a best donator award while there are only 1 person who donated more than 1 cent.

Oh, well. I guess it all worked out, then. I'd also say something about having a "Best Music" section or something encouraging people paying more attention into music the same way we have a "Best 3D Game", but then I remember what my stance on the topic is like. For now, I honestly would say "Most Polished" would suffice - which is a big part of the reason I nominated what I did for that category, anyway.

I need to spend some time giving it some hard thought, and playing some of the latest game submissions and in the queue!

Can't wait to see what nominations get put up! ...probably not gonna do some myself, since this type of thing isn't my specialty. Hope to see some good nominations though!

I feel like 2015 for me was filled with me screaming about and at people trying to help me on my artwork skills. Do I even deserve to be nominated? The answer is no. No I do not.
