No offense (no really, I don't mean to offend here), but do you even have any contributions to the mainsite or did you just forget to link your mainsite account to your forum account?

1. No offense taken, man; you're a cool dude.
2. I have two sprite sheets on the main site, each one being updated versions of...well, past versions. Sure, it's not much, but quite a bit of effort was put into each.
3. I was not even aware that you could link accounts. Therefore, I understand where you're coming from.

Open your User CP and click on the Profile link. On the edit profile page there should be a section for Main Site Integration; enter your mainsite username and password and submit and you should be set.

I kind of thought that way too. Sure there's people out there with more mainsite contributions than me, but why the heck not?

As much as I'd love to be a Quality Control staffer (Not pointing any names, but we have seen quite ridiculous levels of quality, after all), I honestly think I'm too busy for the job, leaving me in hopes that whoever is picked will be competent, constructive and good at criticism. I probably won't be chosen anyway, what with my lack of contributions.

Being a mainsite staffer isn't really a fun job for anyone applying, it's actually a bit of hard work if you plan on doing a good job of it.

Kritter: That is very true. Handling the mainsite queue requires a fair amount of work if you're going to do the job well. Being a mainsite admin requires the same skills that you'd use in a real job - managing staff members, customer support, and public relations - that you'd use in a managerial role in real job, except you don't actually get paid!

Draco: Hmm, is that "the" Turbo? (If so, that's good! If there was an MFGGer in need of a turnaround, it was him.)

Turbo would probably act more or less exactly the same if he came back here, mind you. He doesn't like the place enough to not act like that.
