Today I have found out a disastrous bug at the widely used image hosting website TinyPic. Where some of your uploaded materials might either be deleted or redirected to another user's uploaded image.
Spoiler:

At the first thought I was hacked, but I found out several users has the same effect too on images uploaded from TinyPic. Take a good example at BibbyTeam:
scaled image

Change your avatar/posts/signature as much as possible if you're using TinyPic or possibly ImageShack. I recommend you start using imgur, PhotoBucket, or Dropbox.

EDIT Guinea:
I would like to remind everyone that you are responsible for content you post on MFGG, which means if you use an unreliable image host or hotlink without permission, and the external image is replaced with something that violates the rules, you can and will be held responsible. Therefore, please use a reliable image host and do not hotlink.

Deviantart might not be a good suggestion, seems they frown on hotlinking.

Tinypic has been causing me problems for a while, in that they often delete random images I've hosted there, including a bunch of my art pieces and GOTM screenshots. Other image hosts are definitely more reliable, and I would recommend switching.

ImageShack is this unreliable too? I've never had any issues with it.

Cliax Codec is a combination of top-down and third-person shooter. The gameplay will blend platforming, puzzle and shmup elements together to create a unique gameplay experience. You will take control of four playable characters which rise against a team that seemingly wants to take over the world - but are their motives really that cliché, or are there deeper motives behind their actions?

They have a track record for deleting images at random, especially if you don't have an account.
At times the images may be swapped out for another as well.

This brings to mind another common image host, years ago, that thought that it would be hilarious to swap out all hotlinks with NFSW content instead of a "no hotlinking" message.

Relying on image hosts in the long-term isn't that great of an idea to begin with. Same goes for file hosts, for that matter. They can never be as reliable as a proper web host, or your own server.

(They're not entirely terrible, but they're incredibly sub-optimal.)

For most people, this is all they have.
Not everybody has the means, or even the bandwidth to run their own server.
