Why not just use Ad Blocker?

^You're posting on the site that is supporting its own life from those ads, Slash. You might want to rethink that suggestion.

I meant for users on their computers, just like I'm doing right now. I don't see ads because I'm using ad blocker.
If there is a money problem, I'm willing to contribute to make this site alive. :)

That's just the thing,
MFGG gets funding based on anyone who can actually see the ads.
Anyone blocking ads, actually cuts this funding by a percentage.

However, I like the fact that you are willing to contribute like that.
I believe that RII is the owner of the current webspace, you might offer that to him.

I think the reason the ads with the scantily clad women are appearing now is because they aren't considered adult. Even if they keep getting removed individually I imagine they'll keep popping up since AdSense probably doesn't put them in the adult category.

So I have to do now is contact RII? Good enough!

Puddin is correct that some of the borderline ads are not being classed as mature, but rather as gaming (or possibly outside of classification altogether). All we can do is play a game of whack-a-mole as they come up. The League of Angels ads, which seems to be the dominant offender, are proving very difficult to block. Google is not providing sufficient tools for this and the URL is not stable. I've tried adding some more URLs and blocking an ad network, so we'll see if it has any impact.

I've already responded to Slash individually, but the decision to use adblock is a personal choice and I am not offended if anyone chooses to do so. Current ad revenue is still in line with hosting costs, and I'm not too worried about it.

Steamy banner ads are definitely the place to find enduring romance. They're even better than those Hot Russian Brides that keep landing in my spam folder.

Please note: This is not the place to argue about what is, or is not appropriate.
This is just a report thread.

Whether it is or not is to be determined by staff.
I would encourage those who feel that they have seen an inappropriate banner to report it here.

With that said: Please do not argue about the content reported in this thread.

That's strange, I don't think we're arguing or anything like that. I actually laughed at his post because it was funny xD

I think Nite was only giving a heads-up that you should avoid possibly having an argument.

I don't ever recall running into a single adult ad around these places (the Forums, the main site and the Wiki), so that's bound to be a good thing, I suppose. I never had AdBlock for the sake of supporting the things I frequent, too.

In the case I do, though, is it possible to get a refresher on how to get the link so I can report it here? It would be useful not only for me, but for everyone else as well... Unless it's something really obvious and I'm the only one lost about this.

(Nope, I didn't make this post solely for the sake of an Index takeover.)

It's pretty easy actually.
When you spot one of these ads, RIGHT click on it, and select "Copy Link Location" (May also be called "Copy URL" or "Copy link to Clipboard", depending on your browser)

Post the retrieved link here.

Easiest way to get a screencap of the banner (Since some are flash) is to use the "Print Screen/Sysrq"
This will copy a snapshot of your entire computer display to your clipboard, (Hold down ALT while pressing this key to only capture the active window)

Upload the snapshot, and post it here.
There are a number of hosts that you can use, and even one here on MFGG.
http://imgur.com/ is the best that I know of however.
