Midas Machine, get Best use of Site Resources for me...
And 15/15 for my predictions.

And finally, the newest MFGG Award, Best Bosses. And the winner, while hardly surprising is, Spoiler:
Psycho Waluigi!
That concludes this year's MFGG Awards ceremony! I'd like to extend a nice big round of applause to all of our winners and nominees, and to everyone who took the time to vote! While some of you might be surprised just how soundly PW swept most of the awards, I must say it's an incredible game, and new fangame makers would be wise to learn from the many things it does well.
While I can't think of a rousing exit speech or a riveting closing credits theme, here's signing off after my first year of MCing this fabulous event. Let's make 2012 even groovier than 2011.

And to answer your question, supernova, it's just a game. I try and see how many of the results I correctly voted for. If I've voted for about (or over) half of them, then I know I'm in the groove.
Well, at least PW won the last award, and got me a 8/17, or 47%.
As for opon4's predictions, he gets 11/16, or 69%.
And I think I know one phrase that sums up this whole event, which Wario once spoke in Mario Party... (and, if he knew that PW would do so well, he'll be saying again)
"D'oh, I Missed!"
Still, I hope that 2012 will prove better, both for me and all of you guys.

Not surprised by the results so far... congrats everyone! I'm very satisfied with WITT2 winning Best Use of Site Resources!
I agree too for Witt2.

I've no idea. However, for the games that do have a wiki page, I've gone and added a little bit extra to show that they won award(s) during this event.

Yeah, but that's only awarded games.
Everyone deserves a cookie for nominating and voting, seriously.
Thanks for the musician votes, and the best use of site resources vote! Surprisingly winning that award helps motivate me to begin episode 3.
Congrats to Thunder Dragon for his great work and his awards, and the rest of the winners!
Although I am sad that Revenge of the Walrus didn't get any awards.

Thanks DJ Y! Yeah, I kind of wish ROTW had won something, too, even though I must confess that PW is a pretty amazing game...
Also, for future reference, I added the winners' list to the original post.

Now I'm kind of jealous. Yeah, PW is great indeed! Extra congrats to TD.
Spoiler:
Besides, I don't really care about winning. It's about all the fun I had at MFGG over the years. It's just an extra 25x25 image for me.

Doesn't this contest seem kind of useless? I mean, it pretty much just turned into a popularity contest, meaning Psycho Waluigi won most of the awards. I even feel many of them were undeserved. Well, that's not exactly it. Allow me to explain:
Spoiler:
BEST ENGINE Psycho Waluigi doesn't stand out at all; other engines, including Midas Machine and Red Scare, were just as good. The problem is it's perfect, but it's not the only one.
BEST LEVEL DESIGN Psycho Waluigi's level design is good. Again, though, it doesn't stand out to me. Others should get just as much recognition.
MOST POLISHED Psycho Waluigi is very polished. But again, so are many others, such as Midas Machine (again).
BEST STORY Psycho Waluigi's story was uninteresting and forgettable to me. Waluigi is on some island and there's a psychic cloud of some sort. That's not to say there's something wrong with it, and I'm sure it deserves the recognition, but it might not be the only one (I only say "might" because I didn't read the story of Midas Machine much, and the only other game I know of with any real story is my own game, so I'm dodging bias here).
BEST CONCEPT Psycho Waluigi's concept is a good one, but I feel games such as Bloop Rinse and Red Scare have just as good concepts.
So basically, I think most of these awards apply to Psycho Waluigi, but I think it's unfair that it was singled out for all of them.
I'm sure I'm upsetting MFGG traditions or something by suggesting this, but wouldn't this be more useful if multiple games can win a given category? So, rather than having people choose their ultimate winner choice, have them vote "yes" or "no" on each game winning the given award, and then put all games on that have more "yes"es than "no"s? Just a thought.

^While I agree with you that some categories are popularity contests, I do not like the other idea either, because that wouldn't really change the popularity aspect. Also winning an MFGG Award would be too easy if there were also multiple winners per category.
I'm afraid such things will never be 100% "fair", unless there is an unbiased committee handpicking the winners after nominations came in, similar to how VinnyVideo picks a Game Of The Month every month by himself.
PS: Midas Machine will take Psycho Waluigi's place next year, so don't worry.
