To allow competitions to get the attention they deserve, I'd like you to do the following:

- The creator of the competition has to request the topic in question to be stickied. The easiest way to do this is to report your own topic.

- Competitions need to be in topics named "[type] Competition #[number]". The title should either be in the title or in the subtitle, wherever it fits (only exception being the Minigame Competitions, which should be updated after the theme has been revealed though)

- The winner of the competition should PM an administrator, including a list of everyone who won a badge and what place they got.

- The administrator in question will then award the badges, move the topic to the archives and put a note there that the badges have been handled.

- If a competition typically lacks participants, it is also possible to file a request for that spot on top of the board overview, linking to the competition topic. This request can only be handled by administrators.

After some revision, I am going to put the above into the official competition rules.

Makes good sense. We should've standardized these things a while ago.

^Suggestions are welcome btw., if they make sense to keep things more organized.

Not really a suggestion, but I realized badges were given out for competition 8, but not for competition 7.

If there are lack of paripitant, should we delay the deadline for the competition?

If the reason is that not enough people seemed to know about the competition or there is a good reason why many people didn't have time to enter (e.g. exams), an extension is possible.

Since MGC#15 was cancelled or done. Should admins start the next one? Or restart the whole competition #15?

Nah, #15 simply ended as "no contest".
As for #16, I think ah has an idea, so if I get a hold of him, I'll ask him for his idea and maybe we'll take that then (of course that means I won't enter).

@ah, you can send me a PM with that theme, then i'll send you a PM with the details to set it up.

PM sent. I've generalised the theme a bit more, and have also been working on another way to say the rules of the contest. For example, rule 6 would go something like so: "Feel free to sleep, eat, drink and go out as much as you need. You do not need to program the full 168 hours, nor is it recommended!" I've also plan to extend the rules regarding teams so that if a team wins, the programmer is responsible for setting up the next contest.

Those are already the rules. Also idk why the programmer should be responsible. If it's a team, both people in the team can set up the competition if they have an idea.

The reason why I'm saying the programmer should be responsible is not that the other person gets left out. It's so that the two can talk, but it is recommended that the team decides who should contact you about the theme they have set up.

Edit: And, seeing as I've done that thing, should I go and make a new topic for the contest? Or would your topic be the one used?

You make a new one, I'll sticky it.

Done. I also included my reworded version of the rules. It's just as clear, if not clearer, but uses a lot more words.
