Right, so you guys will have some staff changes right now (one which has already been in effect for a few days), and this is the topic to inform you and let you guys discuss. Staff changes are usually instigated by something happening. That something happening is my ability to cope with this place. I'm not saying it's too much to handle, nor are there any problems (seriously, all of you are very awesome, thanks for keeping these forums so nice and bloody amazing, you all deserve something I don't do, a less than three heart. <3). It's the time-told tale of an individual being in the same place for a very long time, taking lead (twice now), and eventually needing a mental break. Except a permanent break. tl;dr I am resigning as admin on both the forums and main site. I'll still be visiting every now and again as a member, but as I mentioned to my staff a while ago, it is growing mentally unhealthy for me to continue being here with any sort of power attached to myself. I turned bitter a few years ago, and even though this forum is awesome from the slump it used to be, I still find myself having a negative tone at times (and some of you probably already noticed), so it isn't a very good quality for taking care of a place like this, and once again, doesn't help me as an individual. okay negative part is now over let's go positive [b]VinnyVideo is now a Global Mod.[/b] A bunch of you already know this (thank you replies in the news topic for keeping a secret), so let's just make it official by me and such. He's a pretty solid individual for being mod, and there were no objections, so there you go! Congratulate this guy if you haven't already. [b]Guinea is now Administrator.[/b] This was probably unexpected, although some of you could have guessed he'd become admin. I'm not going to glorify here too much, so let's just say that I admire his enthusiasm with fangames, plus his experience with moderating puts him in an ideal situation to be a suitable replacement as admin for me. So also congratulate Guinea for this opportunity! Black Squirrel is still admin, BTW. He may not be in attendance as much, but he hasn't become as bitter as I have, nor has he spent a good chunk of his life on this site and forum like I have. That's pretty much it. Thanks you guys for your continued efforts with fangames, and obviously being admin of the old times versus now has been a real treat. Unfortunately things like this have to happen, but if it didn't, I would totally stick around as admin for all of you. Keep the enthusiasm for our forums and website going, and I look forward to seeing what Guinea and Vinny have to offer in the future! See you on the other side.
