I'm not a man of many words, so here goes the topic, since today is the day. Starting as a little site which just collected some resources and games submitted via e-mail, MFGG started to gather interest and evolve to what we know now. The main site is the heart piece of the site, delivering the best that Mario fangaming has to offer, and this forum is a nice addition, which gives the chance to develop a fangame centered community. Most websites don't even last 10 years. But what has been built up back then is still here, and thus, congratulations MFGG. I hereby declare the following month the 10-Year-Anniversary Month. This is also the time to inform yourself a little bit about our past, since most of you are relatively new. So, some time ago I started working on a new Waligie game. Try to find them all! I don't think I'll be making another Waligie game after this.

Happy birthday, MFGG. It's been a long time, both since I've posted, and since I'd joined.

I'm actually surprised the site managed to stay active for this long, and as grating as it was at times (then again, [i][b]grating[/b][/i] is probably the understatement of the millennium), I'm happy to have been a part of MFGG history, even if my role was fairly small. I didn't know it was this soon or this long... it might be egocentric but I think I might whip up my own capsule of old and unreleased fangame junk. Perhaps I could even fix up and release what was done of the original Thingio Side B, I mean, if I ever do manage to release this dream version of it I have imagined up, the plot's been redone and changed up so much that it wouldn't spoil much anyway. Just worried about embarrassing myself given the original hype I tried to do up... this gives me another idea, too... Still, man, 10 years already, I was 12 when it first started, not that I ever saw the first update. I still was off and on lurking during the EZ Bread days though, or at least I [i]remember[/i] them.
