First things first:It has been an honor to organize the MFGG Awards 2010 this year.
Having feared that the split may have affected the participation in the nomination and voting process, I expected only very few nominations, or even handpicked winners by the staff this year.
But there was no reason to fear this scenario!
In contrary, MFGG, you have nominated enough games and people for the categories, that in every category we had great matches. If one category had less nominations, it was only because a couple of games stuck out so much that they just couldn't be topped, so my compliments to the creators of these games that swiped the competitors off the stage before they could even enter it!
And what's more, this year's MFGG Awards has actually had MORE voting PMs than last year's!
Believe it or not.
And with that said, I have to thank you all, both the creators of the games, and even moreso the players of these games, without who a game wouldn't make too much sense.
Fangaming is alive, guys, and with this message, I want you to join me on this journey through the year 2011.
Let's hope that MFGG Awards 2011 will see an equally as good lineup as this year did!
