Why do music competitions take place in News and Events? Should it not be in the Arts Board like the Art Competitions are? Or do we not consider music part of the Arts (despite the description of the Arts Board saying otherwise)? On the flipside, why aren't art competitions held in News and Events? Is it not a forum event? |

I think all official competitions should be in news and events, to be honest. |

I agree that all competitions should be held in the same location. I just found myself wondering why this competition was here and the art competition was in a completely different section. |

What happens is that regular members can't make a thread in News and Events, so they have to make it in another subforum and then ask a mod to move it. If they don't specifically request it be moved, it sometimes doesn't. |

I've now handed out badges to KPP and Etch. Congratulations on making two awesome pieces! Ah yes, the old "should competitions be in News or in the development/art forums" debate has resurfaced. I don't have a strong opinion on this matter. I'm happy to experiment with either format to see which generates the most activity. |
