Nice job to everyone who entered the last Music competition! Now, I suppose since I've been getting pestered to make the new competition ever since the day I won, I should step up and take the responsibility. The theme for Music Conpetition #13 is... ELECTRO POP/ROCK! You can be pretty flexible with this one, As I'll accept anything from Electro to Pop to Rock; and a combination of either of the 3. Some instrumental tips: -Using Electric guitar with Chiptune/heavy beam VST's -Drum Pad's with some 8 bit soundfonts Some examples: Spoiler: Get creative. |

Well I've got a rough start for my entry. After rendering I noticed that the piano instrument that comes with my chiptune VST had this weird static to it. For my final I'll probably space the sections of my song out and such. I'm still testing chiptune VSTs and will tinker until I get something that I like. I'll most likely leave the guitar lead in but might replace it with something that isn't so in-your-face. Anyways, enough of my blabbering. Click here to listen. Also, what might the deadline for the comp be? |

H-heh, here's one last late submission! It's a remix of W1-1 from the original Super Mario Bros. - I was considering using an original composition, but decided it was more chiptune than electro, so yeah. |
