Well, I just managed to finish my entry for this competition (it's still September 16 in a few time zones, right?). It's a follow-up of The Flooded Tower's story. It's not as complete as I'd want it to be (really, I haven't even gotten any sprites for the boss made, which is why its appearance looks like a placeholder, and there isn't any sound effects and music), but I didn't really have a lot of time to work on it. Oh well. Anyway, here's a link to it:
Battle in the FuturePlease read the CONTROLS.TXT file that is included in the .zip file before playing the game. The engine was made from scratch. Also, just to let you know, the boss will start attacking in a few seconds, and the Goomba can take four hits until he is gone. Oh, and there was one thing I forgot to mention in the CONTROLS.TXT file. You can only pick up the object that is seen as a green blob with an H on it when it is stationary.
