Well, Q-Nova made a Super Comp at the same time that I wanted to make a Minigame Comp ( :angry: ), but now that it's finished, it seems like a great time to start a new comp. 2015 only had, like, three of these, so hopefully 2016 will be able to squeeze in as many as possible.
So the theme of this year's first Minigame Competition is...

-- """ORIGINAL""" CHARACTERS --

Every fandom is known for their abundance of Original the Character, so it's time to spread that into gaming. Your minigame must include at least one character who is fundamentally based off of an pre-established character of a a franchise of your pick. Many of you already have a character who fits this theme, so feel free to use that if you so desire. You don't need to make a new character, just one that hasn't appeared in any officially licensed product of a franchise.

The deadline is March 12th, so no matter where you are on the planet, you'll have two weeks to work.

Does our original character(s) in our game have to be in a existing species that is in a franchise, or can it be in a species that hasn't appeared in a official product of a franchise?

It has to be fundamentally inspired by an existing character or species that has appeared in a franchise. For instance, Yellow Luigi would fit the qualifications since he's based on Luigi, an established character in the Mario games. Zorglorps, a completely original aquatic fish people with no clear source of inspiration, would not fit the qualifications.

So long as their design is based on an existing robot master. All original characters must be clearly based on an existing character(s). The character I posted in my OP, Burn the Hedgehog, is a good reference because he is based on Sonic the Hedgehog.

Just thought I'd say my entry is nearly done. It's kind of rushed and half-baked because I noticed this competition too late and misunderstood what the theme was until today but that's half the fun :P So yeah, expect me to post it tomorrow :)

I guess I could also post something tomorrow. I kind of got caught up in working on other (arguably more important) things, so forgive me if it's not exactly beaming with content and hyper polish! But it should be at least mostly polished, because I like doing that sorta thing.

EDIT: Guess I was wrong about that! Oh well, maybe I'll cook something up before the comp ends next time XD

Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Ice Cold
A Rushed Minigame By Cadet

This game sees Goku venturing through the Mushroom Kingdom in search of the legendary 7 dragonballs. Little does he know a somewhat familiar great evil resides there...
This is a very short game and will most likely take about 5-10 minutes to complete (if that). I originally read the prompt incorrectly so that's why its such a weird mish-mash of ideas. :P

I'll consider this my final entry unless there's some glaring issues I missed like the f2 key. So yeah, enjoy! :D

Lucky the Abomination: Extremely Rushed Edition

Generic platformer set in the Sonic universe with one short level. Collect all 7 Chaos Tails to win. This really didn't turn out how I wanted it to be, but I decided to submit it anyway.
