The last MGC was half a year ago, so it's about time we had another one, right? Without further ado, the theme this time is...

TIME

It can be anything as long as it clearly has something to do with time, but that doesn't mean you're limited to time limits! It can be about collecting clocks, it can take place in a clock tower, it can be a cheap Mario rip-off of Superhot... Hell, if you're feeling adventurous, you're welcome to make a game about Time Magazine. The possibilities are endless!

Entries must be submitted by September 29th, 2015. Time to make games

Does a Game Maker remake of Time Warp Tickers from Action 52 count as well?

Is it really a good idea to have 3 contests going on at the same time? I have an idea, though.

If you can explain what it has to do with time, sure. I really do hope everyone already knew what I'm going to say, but just having "time" in the game's name and/or a couple clocks in the background somewhere is not enough to qualify. Time is meant to be the central theme, not a pretty sticker you slap on a completely unrelated game.

For example, time limits. Super Mario Bros. wouldn't count, because in it, the time limit is not a factor in the gameplay 99.9% of the time. The escape sequences in Metroid games, on the other hand, would count, because in them, the time limit actually matters and you're actively racing against it.

Ugh...so that's a no...
For those who don't know:
Time Warp Tickers is one of 50 super-awful games of Action 52.
In that game, you play as a pair of fingers (not even a whole hand, but only the index finger and middle finger, which are used as legs), who has to defeat enemies that roam a checkerboard-filled place with upside-down doors by flicking them with the index finger.
It's well known for its special gimmick: Whenever you defeat an enemy or get defeated, instead of an explosion, you only get a small text that says "Time?", which then disappears like a regular enemy explosion.
I wanted to do a remake of that game simply because it's a bootleg game, and I think that MFGG does NOT have enough remakes of bootleg games.

I have an idea for the game, but it may take long to make, even if the game lasts for about one or two minutes.

Well, how about you remake it in a way that actually includes time warping?

I guess my game counts because it's a race against time and you have to collect clocks to raise it?

Anyway, more progress on Prehistoric Panic. (level name)

Looks more jungle-y, but all it needs is a background which I can't find for some reason so if someone can find that for me that'd be great ok

Would a game where you climb up to the top of a clock tower as fast as you can, in order to travel back a bit through time, and the game records the time it takes for you to reach the top of the tower, count? I just want to make sure.

I'm not particularly sure what you mean by that.

It looks... Messy. Like if you had filled most of the room with random tiles.

Also, Mario is one pixel off the ground and there is a green line in the flower tiles.
