Well, as the very first thing: I need the old sspp03 sprites, from which a couple sprites were used in the Clickteam game Brothers in Charisma. Then, I also have no idea, which game has got good cat sprites? If I would have had cat sprites, which included standing, walking and meow-ing, then that is already enough for me (I would then just recolor them into robotic cats).
And the last thing regarding sprites: The guns from Metal Slug. I already have Heavy Machine Gun and Rocket Launcher, but nothing else (and I want to include Flame Thrower, Shot Gun and Iron Lizard, aside from the default gun, of course).
Aside from that, since this competition wants me to use a self-made engine, I decided to do that (albeit with a bit borrowed code for the collision and variable movement part, because those are the only things, were I know how it works, but still cannot replicate it with my own code).
