Would it be possible to get a one-day extension?

I'm even trying to upload with my crapternet, and maybe I can upload STILL today, at least if you extend the time a little?
It's just that I never entered a Minigame competition, I don't wanna "not" participate in my first one :P

Argh, I can't upload, every time the upload is going well it returns back to 2%

But I won't give up.

But it would be still nice if the time was extended :\

I can't see why they would disqualify your entry for simple uploading troubles. Even if one were to look at the situation cynically and claim that you were simply making excuses to get more time (obviously a silly and paranoid outlook), a few hours would hardly make that much of a difference.

Meh, I give up now, you just don't understand what I mean of "crapternet" means, my upload speed was nothing but 1 KB. Yes. 1 KB, and that's not exaggeration, that's 3G Internet. I even tried changing music and the file came from 3MB to 2MB, yet, most of the upload sites keep changing the download completion back to 2%, if I get another chance, though, I'll try again. Unless even if you want, I could remove ALL sound effects and music, so file will get smaller to upload, then in a good internet place I post the version with musics and etc.

Y'know, I really don't see how an extension would be impossible. The last competition lasted for two-and-a-half weeks, after all.

Apparently Shadow Kami hasn't visited MFGG in a week so I doubt (s)he'll be here to end the competition any time soon.

As a person, I hereby declare the competition extended until the 18th. If a mod or SK disagrees, do say so. I doubt there'll be a problem with this, though.

Does the extension really need to be for six more days? But if it's really necessary, I can tolerate it.

Perhaps it can end early if both Roo and Wildog both finish their games and lu9 manages to find a good source of Wi-Fi (I've downloaded Steam games at McDonalds, if there's any of those restaurants within range. Don't know anything about Brazil, though) to upload his entry with?

It's a bit of a specific caveat, but it might be able to shorten the competition a bit.

Maybe on the next weekend I can upload it, but of course, trying to get it as sooner as I can. And don't forget UEU said he was entering as well.
EDIT:
I FINALLY COULD UPLOAD!

Okay so I finally finished. It's a little sub-par in quality (and quantity) because I had to rush cause I'm moving away to college literally tomorrow.
Download here.

I guess this is more of an engine test really, but.. eh.
Also, I know about a lot of the glitches already like the stats not resetting when you fall off the stage, the poor block/Goomba collisions, the charging glitches, etc. So sorry about those.
Anyway hope you enjoy.

I suppose that the contest ends around now? I suppose I'll give my thoughts on the entries TO DISCREDIT THEM AND MAKE YOU VOTE FOR MIIINE.

WarioWear (by Roo): I suppose this won't be accurate should Roo release another version in the next few hours, but...this computer-designed WarioWare felt a bit too unfinished. However, it really captured the feel of a WarioWare game really well by juxtaposing so many wildly-different graphical designs and minigame subjects together so quickly; it also had quite a bit of humor to it (particularly with the crazy sound effects), which is fantastic, since humor is so integral to WarioWare's design.

Super Wario Bros. (by lu9): Certainly one of the more creative entries, expanding upon the original WarioWare's "bounce around on Goombas" microgame to make a full-fledged level. It does that rather well, considering the inherent simplicity of its source material. The game has both Goombas and un-stompable spiny enemies that must be defeated using the fart ability, which is obtained for single uses through powerups. While it made for an interesting concept, I didn't care for the ability; with the spiny enemies generally placed directly after the powerup, I did not feel as if I had any choice as to when and where I used the attack. However, I did find Wario's temporary decrease in bounce height in certain parts of the level to be a very interesting idea for a platformer. I completed the "kill all enemies" challenge, but not the minimum-bounces challenge.

Paper Wario (by Wiidog4ever): While I personally like the choice of concept, it wasn't executed particularly well. Even as an engine test, the faulty collisions (which Wiidog did mention) are a mark against it, as are the general problems with health. This may be a bit of a nitpick, but I didn't like how Wario charged directly through enemies and bricks without reacting to collisions. Graphically, it looked nice (especially with the interface), and it did animate very well, but...I'm afraid there's not much else to praise.

Wario Land: 30 Golden Bombs (by Magnemania): This was also an entry. Was it too hard to complete? Kind've curious. I don't want to make frustrating games.

I believe that's all the entries. Voting begins now and ends at the end of this week, I believe? Six days seems like it would be enough, but people tend to be busy at this time of year with moving-to-college and whatnot (I just moved back into my dorm today!) so it may require additional time. I'm not entirely too familiar with the system.

Care to elaborate? I'm not sure what you mean by the problems with health. Is it a glitch or something?

You mean how Wario doesn't rebound when he charges through stuff? If so, then I agree. I would have programmed it that way but I got to lazy to implement it.

Thanks for the feedback!
