I think I made it...just.
This is my first entry, annnnd it didn't turn out how I really wanted it to -.-
there are only two levels instead of the original four I was planning.
I may fix this game up once the MGC is done.

But I also learnt a lot about time management :D

Press F1 for controls or read this:

Z - Select Choice(or enter), Shoot Weapon
X - Cancel, Shoot Powerup (lost after hit)
C - Change vehicle (three types)
Arrow keys - Move in direction (up down left and right)
WHEN PAUSING THE GAME ONLY ENTER WORKS (forgot about Z -.-)

Wait, wait! Would you find the mercy to please accept a last-minute entry a few minutes after the deadline? Voting didn't start yet, so I'm assuming it's okay.

If so, here's my entry: Copter Car Clash.

I thought the competition ends tomorrow, the 25th of June?

It ended at Midnight GMT. June 25th. Don't most people consider Midnight to be the beginning of a new day? If it's just me, I can change it.

Yoshbert, I'll let you in out of kindness (:

I wasn't thinking about others timezones. If you're willing to wait unti June 25, 2013 @ 12:00 noon (Central Time) then that would be great.

I'll close voting until then if you get an entry in.

Sorry, for holding the final voting, but I'm not very proud of my entry. You can continue final voting now.

I spent the whole day thinking I'd have part or most of tomorrow to finish it. I have the game seemingly finished but haven't tested it much at all, I dunno if I can do anything after the submission period, if I can then I'll fix any bugs people point out, if not, here it is.

EDIT: This is the version that I submitted right before the "extended extended deadline" if it still counts, and here is a slightly newer version with some emergency bugfixes.

Controls are Shift and Ctrl to shoot and sometimes jump, arrow keys move, enter pauses. There's only one long level encompassing all of SML World 1, see how far you can get!

All the graphics are from here, currently without permission as he didn't respond. Exception is the tank, an edit by Peardian.

You posted this after the deadline. I guess Im the Red Spy has to decide if it's valid or not.

Here's an updated version of my entry.

Thank you kindly. :D

Final voting will commence. Top 5 seems a little worthless for 6 entries.

Yoshbert: A very nice and polished minigame, but there's not really much to do, and you can easily win by making Luigi touch the ceiling and constantly ram into him as I don't think the AI is smart enough to move away from you when it should, just smart enough to home in on you.

No top 5 voting with 6 entries? Anyway, I vote for Pyro, it was a pretty fun minigame.

Played all of them, all great entries!
I vote for Someguy, loved the SML style.

If there are more than 5 entries, there'll be a top 5 voting first.

I'm sorry. I'm still fairly new to this.

Not true. If a competition has 6 entries, going ahead and doing the final voting is absolutely fine.

But does the person who gets 6th place also get top 5 badge? Or do we need a tie breaker?
