This could just as easily be applied to the sprite competitions as well. The creator of the sprite competition will come up with an idea, and if he/she likes the idea and wants to enter it, then he/she can easily start on his/her entry before he/she releases the competition unto the other members of the forums. I think sprite competition rule #4 (the rule Roo recently posted) should apply to the mini-game competitions as well.
