Hello,
Who is in the mood for a Minigame Competition?
The previous two didn't turn out so well, we had only 2, respectively not even 1 entry. I don't think this was a problem of bad themes, but more that it was that busy time of the year, where you had to study for exams.
Just to be sure however, this time
we're doing it with signing up again.
The plan is to start the competition this weekend. And from there on out,
there are 4 options:
Quote:
1) Classic 1 week competition. Takes from Saturday June 30 until Sunday July 8 midnight (so 2 days extra by default). Take the advantage of two weekends, but the longer a competition takes, the more likely to have dropouts.
2) 24-Hours competition. Also well known by our members, and packs intense competing into only a day. This will be Friday-Saturday. Intense, but easiest to schedule.
3) Same as (2), but Saturday-Sunday.
4) Weekend Jam. We start Friday noon and you have until Sunday midnight to complete your entry. A good compromise between 24 hours and a week. Easier to schedule than a week, less intense than a 24 hours competition.
How do I sign up?1) Post in this topic
2) Name
all of the options you're ok with (just the number is enough).
3) If you prefer one of the options, say so in your post.
Example for me (I won't enter myself since I pick the theme):
Quote:
Sounds like fun, I could do 2, 3 and 4. Preferably the weekend jam, since I'm home all weekend, and I'd like some time to polish my entry.
If enough people sign up, the mode with the most support gets selected to maximize entrants. I'd like
at least 5 people, so tell your MFGG friends if they didn't see the topic yet.
As soon as I see enough people interested, I'll count the support and post the result ITT, most likely this will happen some time on Thursday, so stay tuned.
I hope to see you guys this weekend and have a great MGC once again.
