Well, you assumed wrong. And, if you know the saying about assuming, then you know how I feel. Any extension starts from the moment the contest would had ended.

Edit: Shoot, forgot to add an intro. Well, here's my thoughts on the three entries.
Guinea and Soup Kitchen:
Spoiler:
This minigame has quite the potential. Having to juggle collecting the veg and keeping the heat at the correct level to make sure the soup doesn't spoil is an intresting task. Although I'm left wanting more after completing the 10 levels on offer. Adding new veg and maybe even a way to combine veg together to make new types, as well as more levels would make this great.
WiiGii and MarioOG:
Spoiler:
I'm sorry, but this game doesn't work on my computer. Sorry.
Yoshbert and Toad Turnip Tank:
Spoiler:
Even though this is an early alpha, I can see potential in this. Although after a while, my finger got tired of having to mash the left mouse button. I desided to press Space to see if that might also shoot, but I found that pressing it resets the game. Still, a great idea, which can be improved by adding a health bar for the tank, and maybe have the tank have a limited ammo supply - when you run low on Turnips, you have to press a key (r, maybe) to restock. However, while restocking, you can't fire. And maybe have it where the tank can use different types of Turnip, each with their own ammo usage and skills (for example, an exploading turnip that uses 5 normal turnips, but will explode on contact with an emeny into smaller turnips) and also include foes and/or 'bosses' that can take more than one hit before dying.
The Verdict: (The vote is in here)
Spoiler:
Yoshbert, if it wasn't for the fact that there was an extension to the deadline, I would had no choice but to vote Guinea. However, of the two minigames, I see greater potential in yours. True, it's currently only an early alpha, but I enjoyed it. That is why my vote goes to Yoshbert.

I hate my internet. It tooks me half an hour to download it. Anyways, I vote for Guinea.
Edit: I changed my vote to Guinea. Sorry yoshibert, it's repetive.

Didn't notice that at the time. But Guinea has already fixed it. Well... almost.
Anyway, here's the (fully fixed) standings:
1st - Yoshbert - 3 votes (ah2190, Wiiboy4ever, Morrad1991)
2nd - Guinea - 1 vote (supernova)
3rd - WiiGii - 0 votes

We are halfway through voting now, as we are using the new 2-day final voting scheme (unless anyone objects) and as such, the standings are as follows:
This could be a close one, as both Yoshbert and Guinea are separated by just one vote. However, WiiGii has yet to claim any votes, which could mean he may not be able to challenge the other two. But only time will tell...

Guinea Edit: I don't understand why Guinea isn't taking the lead by basically all votes. No offense but Yoshbert's demo is nothing more than shooting randomly as enemies come your way. No challenge at all. On the other hand Guinea's game is well polished and actually serves a challenge. Instead of trying to make this a close vote how about we all vote who actually deserves to win shall we?

Well, that didn't hurt at all. :/
I agree with everything else you said, though. I had lots of more stuff planned for this entry (items, more enemies, finished graphics), but I couldn't get everything prepared in time. With the meager amount I time I had before the deadline, the best I could do was make a simple "score attack" minigame.
Looks like I'll be revisiting this game in the near future!

I'll be your 1-Up boy.
Wow kremling, maybe people just had more fun with Yoshbert's (engine test or not). The kind of behavior you are exhibiting is what ruins the fun of competition. Just vote and be done with it.

No. It just helps people realize who the true winner should be. And besides my opinion has no way of ruining the 'fun' people may have in playing (or voting for) the mini-games.
