Well, it’s time for another minigame competition! (not like you’ve been waiting long or anything though…) Congratulations to Wiiboy4ever and LordGavin for making great games in the last competition! This is going to be another 7 day competition. The competition will start on: [b]Sunday, 10th July, 2011, 0:00:00 GMT[/b] And the competition will end exactly on: [b]Saturday, 16th July, 2011, 23:59:59 GMT[/b] Yes, I know it’s two weeks until then, but hopefully taking a few weeks off will increase the number of participants by giving them more notice, giving them a chance to take a break, etc. Any entries posted after this time limit [b]will be disqualified[/b]. This one week period should give you more than enough time to make your game, zip the file, and upload it to a good host like [url=http://mediafire.com]http://mediafire.com[/url] (as an example, you can use any service you would like). No excuses will be entertained. If you fail to submit your minigame by the given deadline, whether you have problems uploading it or you have no access to the internet or whatnot, you will be disqualified. Everything you need to know about joining is on the above linked page. As soon as the theme becomes visible, you can start! You are allowed to use characters from other franchises besides Mario, but they must obviously be gaming-related. Of course, you can make a game with Mario-related characters or even your own indie characters if you like. Be creative! The theme should be easy to execute, just don’t limit yourself! Use your imagination! We need more than three entries! Come on MFGG, enter this one! Even if you have to join late! The rules of this competition are: - You have one week. 7 days. 168 hours. - Your entry must be posted in the topic on MFGG by the deadline - While teams are allowed, only one person will be allowed to receive the badge. Please decide who gets it well in advance to avoid disputes. - No previously made engines, whether made by yourself or someone else, but you can use some lines of old code, based on "fair use". - Feel free to document your work, using a camera, live broadcast, audio recording, screen recording, twitter-like log etc. - Feel free to sleep, eat, drink as much as you need. I'm entering! I made a mock countdown on my site. "You have 18 days, 3 hours, 1 minute, 24 seconds to go." I still can't figure that one out.

As usual, I might enter, or I might not. Depends on how much real-life stuff I have to do by then. You obviously can't start your entry until the countdown finishes, though you could do as I do and make a general minigame template so you don't have to make the same introduction screen every time you start a new project.

School just let out for me, and I have [i]lots[/i] of time on my hands, so I'll be entering this one too.
