Oh, and in case anyone is wondering about my music (Yoshiman said he didn't recognize it...), I used Strange Things from Toy Story, which was used as the main menu theme in the Toy Story video game. My title screen theme was the Russian version of the Ducktales intro, since it didn't have vocals for at least one season.

I would've never came up with something like that... nice job!

I vote for Char.
Yoshbert is in an extremely close second.

Okay, I am truly TRULY sorry right now, but I apparently miscalculated while counting, and missed the vote under Mason's post (I guess I ignored the post seeing the 200 font size). Verified by Yoshiman:

The true vote is
Yoshbert IIIIIIIIIII
Alex IIIIIIIIII
Char IIIIIIIIII
Guinea IIIIIIIII
Wiiboy4ever IIIIIIII

D-Dazzle IIIIIII

This means that Wiiboy4ever is actually in the final voting.
Again, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience caused. Anyone who wishes to re-vote may do so now. As both wiiboy and D-Dazzle had zero votes, final voting will continue as is.

Meh. I just had too little time to make something good out of my idea. It's more cutscenes than gameplay now, so I get it.

First I'd like to say thanks to Char for clearing things up. :)

Alex: Definately better than Rainbow Peasly 1. But in my opinion, the level design could have been a whole lot better, and the enemies could have been less spammed. Good game.

Char: Very nice idea. Could have used better sounds and better programming, and more variety. Okay game.

Guinea: Very impressed. First game I've seen where you can actually play online with someone. I could have never done something that skilled. But because of the online-ness, the game seems waytoo multiplayer oriented, and playing buy yourself seems pointless. Also, the actual gameplay itself is a bit... odd.

Yoshbert: I have to say this is the best one of all. Nice amount of replay value, the AI is nice, but the "bouncing sound" gets repetitive within the first few seconds of gameplay. Also, the game could be a bit more polished, but overall it's a great game.

So yeah, my vote goes to Yoshbert. Great job to all of y00z! :soveryhappy:

I'm voting for Char simply because I find his game to be the funnest of the finalists.

I think you ended that sentence pretty early there.

My vote goes to Char, by the way. Everyone else's entries were great, though.

Vote: Yoshbert. Was a really hard decision, because all the games were good, and pretty impressive for what could be done in 24 hours.

Alex's game had potential but it was incomplete :(
Guinea's game also had a lot of potential but was also, sadly, incomplete. Still, pretty impressive what he could pull off in just 24 hours.
Wiiboy's game was a good idea and fun but as said a lot of times before, frustrating as hell. You could have won my vote if you had more control over Mario's movement. That was my main gripe and the biggest deal breaker.
Yoshbert's game did have its flaws but it was fun and the AI was well executed. Would be even better if he added 2 player mode.

And even though he's not in the finals, I must say D-Dazzle's game was also good fun. I never did get around finishing it though, because of the painfully slow speed of Mario and the low jumping height.

Good job everyone, one of the best MGCs so far. Keep rocking.

Um, I don't see how I could get any votes if I was never a finalist anyway, until now. o 3o

Congratulations to Char and all the other entrants for helping make this a success. What will happen for the next MGC? Would a 48-hour competition be worth trying sometime?

Or maybe a system, wich is active over the whole week. You've got 24 hours to make a game, and you can start the 24-hours timer whenever you want (during that week). Needs to have a log or something, though...

Well we could just have a normal MGC again for a change.
