Alright, let me explain my reasoning. I excluded zXSpriter's entry because you can't tell what it is. It's a basic armature with no detail. While the intent may be for a "Nintendoverwatch" design, said design is not there yet. They had a week to finish it, and they didn't. And Psid's entry is just...offensive. I even reported it a few days ago because that's just messed up. I'm standing by my judgement, but I'll give zXSpriter a chance to post something with more detail by tomorrow, or to contact me if something is preventing them from completing their entry, in which case I will deliberate another extension. But otherwise, these are the choices. Everyone had ample time. |

Well, here's what was left of my entry before the deadline hit. Spoiler: Life really kept this back, but I tried to clean up some of it before showing it. It was originally some sort of cyborg Toad. Considering there are only two entries that have been counted, I'd go with Kirby's Adventure. |

And I told you, I'm not including it because it's an offensive depiction of homosexuals, and shouldn't even be on the forum in the first place. While I cannot say for certain, I also believe the drawing was deliberately made in malice based on the tone of the text that accompanies it. There's a line that was clearly crossed, which is why I reported it earlier this week. |

Because the admins haven't done anything about it yet. Just because something is reported, doesn't mean it will get immediately removed. |

Both I and Vinny think the report didn't require action so it was closed. The entry is harmless and hardly offensive. An insensitive joke at best. If you wish to exclude it, I'll accept that, though I do think it's unfair as it's a legit entry in my book. |

Bloody hell you really can't win on the internet, can you? It's clearly an insensitive joke, so I'm not including it on those grounds. I don't care if it's not "fair" in your book, the inclusion of it being "gay luigi" was unnecessary, much like this discourse in general, as it was my discretion and choice as the event leader to make. Had it just been buff Luigi in that get up without the pin and the text that accompanied the image, I would have accepted it, and dismissed any grievances I had as stylistic and artistic liberty, but those unnecessary inclusions just made it a dick move. The image is in terrible taste and clearly not meant to be taken seriously as an entry. So I that's what I did. |
