Thanks Q-Nova for reminding me to post this competition. I have some decent complex themes but I'll go easy on you guys for this time. The theme for this drawing competition is:

Yoshi
Image

It's a very general competition and I am surprised that there's no theme like this in the past. Anyway here are some policies for the competition:
  • You have to include Yoshi. Mixed breed/robo/alien Yoshi are fine. Boshi counts as well.
  • No adult theme because it's just inappropriate.
  • No anthro.
  • Recoloring, adding background found on Google images is not allowed. Everyone can do that.
  • No Roushi allowed! You will turn into a kitty if you do!

The deadline is:
September the 22nd, 2015!
As long as you submit your artwork before the 21st or on the 21st on your time zone you will be fine.

After spending like an hour or so, I've managed to whip something up. Behold, meet Roboshi!

Roboshi is built to be a replacement for our Yoshi buddies. This robot uses a grappling thing as a tongue, and once it catches something, it'll either trap it inside it's mouth, or put it into the opening to it's belly. The inside of the belly, will trap anything that is inside into an egg-shaped bomb. It's tail has a grappling thing built in, which is used to grab and throw the bombs. A couple rockets built with it, which is like an upgraded version of the fluttering move that regular Yoshi's use, as it makes it fly as high as it can. Roboshi can be controlled, as you might have knew it already from seeing Mario enjoying using the Roboshi.

I have plans to color it, BTW.

It's the symbol that signifies NSFW content on DeviantArt.

I'm gonna try drawing something for the heck of it.

EDIT: I got it done so much quicker than I anticipated. That's why it's pretty bad.

At first I was thinking on drawing a reverse Yoshi-cide where Yoshi jumps off Mario's back and sends him to an abyss but don't know if I can make it funny enough, got to think of a new idea for my entry xD

That's weird. Hylian just reported the error to me, too, and it seems the URL he got when he clicked the link differs from the one I get (which is the version that still works). Either way, I replaced it with a link to Imgur now, so it should be up again.

I dreamt about a hidden, egg-type pikmin in Pikmin 3 back when the game was days from release.
I even watched a whole gamexplain video on it.
Then, I was reminded of said dream when Pikmin 4 was announced to be in development. By chance, I was in this thread shortly after.
