Hey there true believers Jazz here with the new drawing competition.

After thinking long and hard and viewing the MFGG Wiki I have decided the next Competition will be simplicity off itself.

You must draw MARIO! DISPLAYING ONE OF THE MFGG EMOTES!

That's right I'm talking about these things

Draw Mario displaying any of the smilie emotes in one of your drawings! Make a scene of why he's doing it! Or Make multiple drawings! GO WILD!

The due date for this is June 1st, just in time for E3 to start chugging along!

I have an idea for the theme, and no, it's not going to be SVH (hey, if almost everybody is going to do SVH, why not do something besides that?). Good luck to the other participants! ;)

I think I'll end up doing something for all of the emoticons under a few comics since we're allowed to draw multiple.
And I really do intend on participating this time, instead of saying I'm putting it off and completely forgetting about it.
The issue for me is finding the time to do it; hopefully I'll be able to.
(And I know I won't forget this time because I already have some of it sketched out on my desk.)

Oh carp I can't believe I let that one go unnoticed xD especially since I still have the struggle of beating SMB1 fresh in my mind (this is why you never rush a project)

Well, here is my entry, starring Green Man (Greeno isn't 100% accurate to it's original design) and Emotion Man (which uses the :( emote)!

I guess I just have an incredibly steady hand with "Smooth stroke" enabled.

Interesting. Another question. Do you make your line art manually with a computer or do you use an online line art maker? I use the second, and this is probably why my line art sucks.

I draw my art on paper, scan it in, and open it with GIMP.
