GravityGames was the winner, and together with the Comp Leader worked out the following theme:
The Theme: Mario Party 2
Remember Mario Party 2? The player characters got dressed up depending on the theme of the board, e.g. as cowboys, pirates or astronauts, like in this example:
- You must draw at least one Mario-related character donning a Mario Party 2-esque themed costume.
- If you draw multiple characters, you can either have them dressed for a themed party (same themed costumes), or a costume party (different themed costumes).
- Of course you don't need to draw the characters on a blank canvas: Feel free to create a themed board that goes together with your costumes or a minigame and use it as a background for your scene.
- You have to include at least one character OR one costume that was NOT in Mario Party 2. Ex. Mario as a cowboy is not allowed, but you could draw Mario as a politician (costume not in MP2) or Waluigi as a cowboy (character not in MP2). Ideally, you'd draw a new character AND a new costume
