Congrats to Supernova, and the other participants! I'm creating the next Sprite Comp, because I PM'ed Supernova last night, and he replied to me about that his laptop hard drive failed again. So, anyone here a fan of Pokemon? To those that are Pokemon fans, I think you'll like this theme. The theme is: Evolution Rules: You'll have to sprite at least one evolution (or pre-evolution) of a video game character. Pokemon are allowed, as long it's a Pokemon that doesn't have an evolution/pre-evolution (for example, you can sprite an evolution of Celebi as that one doesn't have any evolutions, but you shouldn't be spriting an pre-evolution of Pikachu, as that one already has an pre-evolution, which is Pichu). Sprite Competition rules apply, which can be found here. The deadline is at May 27. Alright, let's start now! I'll probably make an entry, as I didn't win the previous Sprite Comp, and it's okay to have the host enter his/her own competition.

Since I'm allowed to enter my own Sprite Competition, I whipped up an entry. Can you guess what it is an evolved form of? Answer: It's an evolved Octorok, that has grown rocks on it's back and mouth. Plus, it's bigger. Man, those rocks must have made it harder for Link to defeat these kind of creatures.

Miniatoise, the Eggshell Shelled Nintendómon It never outgrew its egg for a good reason, offering it protection to an otherwise weak Nintendómon. Koopa, the Shelled Turtle Nintendómon It walks impressively fast for a turtle, offering a cutting edge in a duel. Whitle, the Sharp Turtle Nintendómon Its spikes jutting out of its shell isn't its only useful aspect, as it has the athletic skill of no other turtle Nintendómon.

Nintendómon I love it. EDIT: Here's my submission, I made it Gameboy color style. I couldn't think of an evolution in-between, so it's just 2. The first is Giegue and the second is Giygas. Giegue looks much better, Giygas is difficult to sprite after all. I think it's kind of overkill since I'm using two final bosses...

Chiisamus Type: Steel Ability: Levitate, Rattled Info Chiisamus is Samus Aran's pre-evolution. It's a tiny, floating helmet. She lacks most of her evolution's abilities, so she doesn't really like to fight. She has in fact a really high Defense and Speed. Etymology Chiisamus's name is a portmanteau between the Japanese word Chīsana (小さな: small, tiny, little) and Samus Aran's actual name.

(So much fixes) Bios Spoiler: Name: Punipinch Type: Normal Ability:Weak Armor Hidden Ability: Speed boost Etymology: Puny (weak), Pinch just means pinch. It's used in this case for a weak bite, almost pinch like. Weakness: Weak Armor lowers attack and raises speed with every hit, and since it already has low attack and defense, it doesn't help it's case. It also has higher attack than special, so it's detrimental, It's terrible in every stat, and is a pain to raise. Thank goodness it evolves early. Evolves to Coilvermin at Lvl 11 Name: Coilvermin/Coil Snake Type:Normal/Poison Ability: Shed Skin Hidden Ability: Inherited from Punipinch Etymology: Coil (what snakes do), Vermin (another name for Snake) Specialties: Average attack and fairly high speed. Terrible defense, and average Sp. Def. (Due to the thick scale-like reptilian skin snakes are known for.) Evolves at: Lvl. 45 to Constrictoserpent Name: Restrictoserpent/Constrictor (Maybe Constrictoserpent is too long) Type: Dragon/Poison Ability: Huge Power Hidden Ability: None (can get Speed Boost through evo from Coilvermin to Restrictoserpent) Etymology: Restrict (What snakes do) Serpent (another name for snake) Special Ability: Gets a massive attack boost from Coilvermin, speed cabablities are expanded, and defense is raised for lower special defense (although not by much.) ~~oh yeah and just saying blak won this competition hands down~~ Also blak I think it should be called Chiimus to be short and to the point

Whew, I hope I'm not too late, I was very busy this week but I manage to make this quick in a day so here's my entry: Pooka from Dig Dug with it's evolutions: the middle one is Pooket and in the right is Poocham, I have no idea what rhymes with Pooka for the third one but it's worth it. :3
