Congrats to Gavin who got second place and everyone else who entered. The theme this time is simple. Shy Guys. There are some rules though. 1. You have to sprite at least 3 different Shy Guys. *Normal Shy Guy *Official Sub species of a Shy Guy (Sky Guy, Sub Guy, ect) *New Sub species (Poison Guy, Jump Guy, ect) 2. No editing official sprites/past work/other peoples work) So yeah, you have to sprite at least 3 shy guys, although once you finish the default one, that will give you a base to work off of (but please, lets try to put some effort into our entries and not do minor edits). Ends on the 19th.

I don't remember Bit guy or Bullet Guy as an official subspecies, although I may be wrong. In case neither is, you need to have 1 normal shy guy, one official subspecies, and one custom subspecies. You can make more than that as long as you at least have those 3 (so you can keep what you have as long as you add an official sub species).

In a week like all the sprite comps ever. EDIT- Since I made this comp a bit late in the day, I just rounded it off to the 19th. Plenty of time to make some sprites.

Honestly, why can't you guys just stick with the 3 shy guys and have really polished or animated entries? I dislike how most of the entries in sprite competitions sometimes end up becoming a competition of quantity rather than quality. No offense, Mit, but just as an example: "welp, time to make more Shy Guys than Gameboy :I"

The contest is about trying to make the best quality sprites and designs that follow the rules and theme of the comp. Hence it's a comp and not an activity. It's here so spriters can improve themselves in a sense.
