Hmmm... I completely agree with you. The issue however will be making it wavy while still going with the idea of it popping out of the BG (since most of his body will be behind his head/in the waterfalls). I may make a biting animation in which he flails a bit, showing more of his body. Or I'll have his body show more as he emerges from the falls... Idk, lots of possibilities, I'll think of something.

Well, incase you did, yes, that is the idea. It's just a matter of also making the redsign fit with the Mario world (if you were redesigning something for Resident Evil, you'd make it a zombie, if you were designing it for Kirby, you'd most likely make it more rounded and remove it's legs.)
