I won the last one, right? Granted, I was the only person to enter so it wasn't so much a victory as it was a forced hand, but STILL I was the supreme champion and had everyone's adoring attention blah blah, etc. etc. Obviously with all of this incredible frontier work behind me, it's time to ring up the next Joke Game competition of 2016. Okay, so nobody entered last time! Fair enough, fair enough. Maybe this time we'll get an entry or two. Maybe more!
Anyways, this contest's theme is:
PARODY AN N64 GAME
The Nintendo 64's 20th anniversary is coming up fairly soon (the 23rd of this month, I believe!), so to "celebrate" I decided to make this comp's theme entirely dedicated to that specific console. Pick any exclusive on the system. Any! The only requirement is that it was originally released on the N64 and remained exclusive long enough to be associated with the system (or was an exclusive for the entirety of that generation, your pick). It can be the well known Ocarina of Time or the entirely obscure Space Station Silicon Valley, anything goes! There are, however, some rules:
- No overt profanity or mature themes. Best way to avoid breaking this rule is: if it wouldn't fly here on MFGG, it probably shouldn't be in your game, champ.
- Nothing seizure inducing. You can have things flail around or wacky stretching or anything of that sort, but hyper flashing lights crosses the line. It's just too risky of a road, let's not play that game. But let's play THIS game!
- Your game must feature this logo I just now created:
You can use it in literally any context, be it a logo at the start of the game or somewhere in a sky level where it wouldn't fit at all, anywhere! It just has to be in the game and in plain sight.
