POST! Being a Super Competition entry, all of the graphics, music, and code have been written from scratch, and everything melds together nicely. In Annalynn, you play as the eponymous heroine, a ponytailed explorer who collects various pixelated goodies while evading the quartet of snakes chasing her. If you nab a Blinding Ruby, however, the tables will be turned, and you can defeat the snakes - for a short time, that is. After a few seconds, your invincibility will return to normal, and you'll have to steer well clear of the snakes. Each level ends once you've collected all of the bits in the room, not unlike the Pac-Man games. The high scores table adds replay value to the game, as you can try to beat your previous top scores. An online high scores feature would be even groovier, in my humble opinion. It might not be a fangame per se, but Annalynn is one of the best minigames to appear on the MFGG forums this year, and you should check it out!
