I would think you could edit and add to the tile set as you please, Strike. I would say that slopes would help with the tile set, but it shouldn't be a difficult thing for somebody as talented as Strike to add. :)

Now Strike, sense we're on the topic of editing, I would think getting rid of the white in those grass tiles would help a lot as it's the only white in the tileset, other than the skull, and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

You know, it's really hard to accept compliments when you know you didn't try your best.
I drew (and colored) that in an hour, and I wasn't proud of it- like many people were of their own gifts, but I especially knew I could have done better.
So, after receiving my own gift today, (thanks, Sevrault!) I decided to redo the original drawing like I half-proposed in the initial post.

Yes, I managed to get to Egg Emperor....multiple times. I think I only could beat him with Team Rose (maybe Team Sonic as well)
I was playing that level on GC not too long ago actually, and yeah. Needless to say, that pic is spot on. Seriously :laugh: Also, awesome Sonic drawing!
