I think I can handle waiting until July, although I'm really looking forward to trying this again.

This probably isn't feasible, but having 12-hour days and 12-hour nights would improve the flow of the game. Of course, I'm not sure if everyone (including myself) could commit to logging on to MFGG at least twice per 24-hour period.

I just realized I haven't made graves for the fallen. I'll have to get on that.

A little off-topic, but I thought it would've been funny to see a tie-in to the series, ala FD escapes his doom before being hanged, there's a moment about him plotting his revenge, queue Mafia 2 X years later.

Vinny: It wouldn't be feasible. I thought about it, but people live in different timezones and all, so I figured this was the most fair. For example, if someone from Moscow happened to join, we would be exactly 12 hours apart timezone-wise, so they'd get at most a few hours for each day phase because they'd be sleeping.

Some games take 2 full days for the Day Phase and one day for the Night Phase, but we definitely don't have a group large enough to make that work at all, and on the other side of things, Forum Mafia is a slower game by default than IRL Mafia or Chat Mafia.

Blutorus: I love that. It would make FD not being able to play the next round necessary, though.

Sure, most of the cast is dead, but this could be the opportunity to mess with the timeflow

And just like that, Friendly Dictator was down for the count.

The town celebrated the exodus of the mafia...well, at least what was left of the town. LuigiM9 declared a toast to me and Dustin and we all agreed to slowly forget about these unfortunate events that happened. The other two didn't seem too bothered with this after a while.

But I just couldn't let it go. I can't help but remember the good times I used to have with everyone, whether they were a simple townie or a spiteful mafia goon. I remembered the good times we all had in this town and the pure innocence we all upheld. But something else was bothering me.

I hadn't been doing the job I was supposed to. The mafia and their acts distracted me from what I needed to do. My boss wouldn't have been pleased, if I had a boss even (I'm self employed). But with the mafia no more, I picked up my chisel, my stone, and my shovel. LuigiM9, Dustin and I all gave a proper funeral ceremony to all that have passed away. The other two left it behind quickly, but I kept this personal issue close.

And so, on this last day before we leave this dreaded island and head somewhere much better, I left to the graveyard and gave my last wishes. I quietly whispered in the cold, dark morning...

"Rest in peace...you memorable goons."

I agree. I would love for the graves to return hahahaha, also good send-off story!

Like I said, I'll write the deaths and stuff in advance next time, so hopefully I will be able to have some decent stories of my own with some preparation.

I'm thinking the first Monday of July as a beginning, out of the way of the early July nationalistic festivities. How's that?

Yeah. I would like for there to be more people too, but it's really hard to gauge interest. When I first asked around, I only got a bit of support, mostly from other staff members, but when I actually opened the topic, it filled up within the hour. I don't want to plan for a game with 24 and end up with only 17 signing up. This next one is going to have a few more complicated roles, so I want to make sure there is a proper balance with the mechanics.
