Abducted Toad is one of the longest and most creative platformers to appear on MFGG in quite some time. Our famous Mushroom Retainer has been beamed up by aliens, and only he can save the universe from impending doom! Abducted Toad's main quest has 28 levels, as well as five levels of postgame content. These levels encompass quite a variety of environments, from volcanoes and caves to factories and even worlds where gravitational forces have been inverted! The demo won Best Setting at last year's MFGG Awards for a reason. Plus, if you look hard enough, you might find some fun surprises, especially in the bonus world. You'll be playing this game quite a long time, especially if you want to track down all 56 info disks. The info disks reveal some fun tidbits about each of the game's enemies, bosses, and other characters. Unlike most Mario games - fanmade or otherwise - Abducted Toad tries to explain the origins behind its often-kooky cast of characters, and it actually succeeds. Many of the meanies are mutated forms of the standard Mario enemies we've grown accustomed to, and it's nice to see FD put some new twists on old themes. Abducted Toad boasts a memorable soundtrack, with a number of original tracks from MFGG's K16. If you haven't played it yet, you should give Abducted Toad a go - but don't be surprised if it abducts quite a few hours of your time!
