This is 100% made by me, goes under Sprites. Not going to refine anything because I DO NOT have the time. College. Sorry prospective art critics, but I am not taking any suggestions to improve my submission at this time. Please understand.
I would have a background, but I doubt its going to be done by tonight. Unfortunately, the month of October has been the least kind to my free time.

ATTENTION! I am in need of coders to help fix Mario's physics for Mysterious Islandz. The game as it stands, is quite glitchy. If you are good at GM8 and is capable of reading FDE Exi's code, PM me!

Dart. Still a basic FC. For now.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, more spooky, evil-themed writin' pieces! Well, onky one of it, actually. Meet my the Devilish Wizard Pyrospook, a concept inspired by what would be a Magikoopa if it had the ignite powers of a Pyro-Guy! (except without the wand)
Spoiler:
"Run for your life! It's Pyrospook! The Wicked Wizard is here! I smiled internally. It has been a while since the last time I heard people cry in fear upon my arrival in a new city. I entonned a magic chant. A sudden fire lit my entire being, as if coming from inside my body. My hands became long and sharp, and my nails took a dark color. My mage tunic was magically spared by the hellish apparition, but I couldn't say the same for the flowers around me. People were fleeing before my flaring gaze, and I was delighted by how fearful I still was wherever I marched. It felt good to, at last, be feared and respected. "Decked out with his scarecrow best, the Wicked Wizard shall destroy the pest!" I sang, overjoyed. I opened my hand and aimed a random house. A fireball came out of my blackened palm and set the house on fire. I could hear children screaming inside. "Devilish spirit, strength of all! Who shall be the first insect to fall?" A group of men armed with rusty swords made the delightful mistake to approach me. With a gracious movement from my hand, I created a fire circle around them. They could not escape. They could only scream in pain and pray for mercy. But they would only burn slowly. "After the insect come the rabbit. Save your life, hop for it!" I tranquilly went past the burning men and threw more fireballs at the pathetic houses all around me. Over the screams and desperate rushes of the people, I could already hear some habitations collapsing, consumed by my dancing flames. This time, six armored knights stepped in front of me, two of which on their horses, with spears ready to impale me. More entertainment. "There it is, the persistent nuisance! Let me approach you, let me watch you dance!" I chanted once again, eager to play with my new toys. A rain of fire balls fell down from the sky and hit the city even harder. The knights and the horsemen abandoned their positions and ran away, their armor in flames. The horses fled with them but fell on the ground after a couple of quick steps. Nobody would escape my flames. I stopped walking for a moment and looked around, satisfied. I took an abandoned branch in my hand. It immediately took fire, to my utmost enjoyment. I had no words to describe my forbidden lust. More than causing destruction and chaos around me, more than the almighty feeling I had when doing so, more than the satisfaction blazing bodies brought to me, it was the beauty of flames that pleased me the most. They lit everything in their chaotic path. They carried my infernal vendetta. They brought despair to the ones who once brought despair to me. I went down in flames because of their foolishness: so would they because of my fury. I could not be more content. But I too, one day, will be consumed by my own flames. I knew and felt it: it would not go on forever. Yet I had to enjoy every minute of destruction I caused, for the simple reason that I was treated as evil, and decided to become evil. "You...You monster..." I looked down. A wounded kid was staring up at me, full of hatred. "You're the enemy of God, aren't you? You're Lucifer..." I gently smiled at the kid. "You know, little boy, Lucifer means light bringer. He used to be an angel, an Archangel even, but was banished. I'm not Lucifer, kid, but you could consider me as a modest emissary. I do bring light, but a kind of light that only I can enjoy. And that's good enough for me." Tears of sheer rage came out of the boy's eyes. It was almost touching. "You'll perish! You hear me?! You'll PERISH! You'll have to wash your disgusting hands after all the crimes you've done, and even after a thousand times, they'll stay as dirty as they should!" "How troublesome. Then I simply won't ever wash my hands." For some reason, my answer seem to confuse the kid. "You... You won't ever wash your hands?" "No." My palm silently approached the kid's face. " 'Cause I'm evil." The kid didn't even have the time to scream: his body was instantly consumed. this one probably didn't suffer. While walking away from the destroyed city, I couldn't help but wonder why was washing my hands so important to the kid's eyes. People really put too much attention into meaningless details nowadays.
And there you have it.

I don't have time to make a horror survival game but...
I ended up writing a story:
Spoiler:
Luigi's Lost Mansion It all started after Luigi's Mansion and LM2. Luigi retired as a heroic plumber (after a tragic event where Mario mysteriously disappeared venturing his journey to save Peach) and become a real estate agent focused on haunted houses. Of all the spirits Luigi has encountered and exterminated, he felt like he's fearless. Until one day...
Luigi went to an ancient, broke down pharmacy to buy some aspirin. After 10 years being a hero, Luigi have never felt that broken down in his early 50s. Unexpectedly, Luigi caught an advertisement by the corner of his eyesight. Luigi discovered that a person wanted to sell his mansion in...a place out of grid. Its territory somehow is not occupied by Mushroom Kingdom nor any other nations. Judging by the picture, the building looks classy, and creepy at the same. Luigi ignores his natural instinct that he should put this one down, instead he is ready to set afoot into that place and take a tour.
After miles of driving into a deep forest, Luigi arrived at the mansion complex. Luigi sighted that the whole complex is undermaintained. Lawns has not been mowed at least a year and it's full of weeds that needed to get removed. Trees are not even trimmed and some structures needed to be remodelized. Before Luigi tries to ring the doorbell, an old Toad opened the gate as if he know that he's coming and gave Luigi a warm welcome. The old Toad guided Luigi across the complex and gave him a tour.
After the tour, Luigi shakes his hands with the old Toad for an agreement selling this mansion. When Luigi decided to get into his car and leave, suddenly, a thunderstorm brewed up and slamming the place with heavy rainfall. The old Toad decided and let Luigi stay in one of the vacant bedroom in the mansion overnight.
Luigi woke up in middle of the night. He felt like he's no longer tired due to his excitement for this real estate opportunity. He walked around the building and found a library. Luigi looked around the libary and found a history record for this very property. Luigi found out that the house was made about helf century ago. It was build on top of a cemetery and it was first served as an insane asylum institute. After it closes down 80 years later, an old Toad bought the property. Record says he was killed by a mysterious virus that causes a large pandemic panic 300 years ago. Later on it was known for a place where demonic worshippers gathering until it completely dissapeared from the map. Luigi start to feel unease, then suddenly the old Toad appeared behind Luigi and wack him with an iron bar. "So you found it out." Replied the old Toad.
Luigi wakes up around 8:00 in the morning and found out he's somehow in middle of a strange room. What makes him feel weird is that it's pitch black outside the windows even though his watch says 8:00 in the morning. Searching around the room, Luigi found a door, but it's locked. Then the old Toad unlocked the door, and enters the room. Then he transformed into his true demonic form. "So you found out secret isn't it?! Well I was planning to trap you here for several days and then consume your soul. Too bad a frightened soul like you is not worthy to be eaten. I will kill you instead, once I'm done with your brother." The the demonic old Toad left.
Luigi found out that his brother is still alive and he want to save Mario again. But how do he get out? Luigi searched around the room again and found a worn out air vent on the ceiling. He punched the vent and climbed into the vent. Luigi crawled for some distance and ended up in the basement.
As Luigi about to get out of the air vent, he saw Mario. All beaten up and bloody, Luigi felt angry and sad at the same time for such things happening to his brother even though Mario usually steals Luigi's spotlight. The demonic Toad approaches Mario, then he start to slowly consuming Mario's soul. Poor Mario didn't stand a chance, he died instantly as Luigi seen the terror flow through him. Then the monster turned around and staring at Luigi's soul and grunts: "You're next!" Luigi screamed as loud as he can...
...in a mental institution. The doctors ran into Luigi's room and injected a sleeping solution to calm him down. It seems like Luigi has schizophrenia and everything happened to Luigi is just his imagination.
Several years ago, Bowser has created a new armed troops and start to taking over country and country to expand his new empire. Unfortunately, when the bros tries to fight off the Koopa troops armed with deadly weapons, Mario is killed and Luigi barely escapes. After that Luigi ended up in a wasteland where a city used to stand, he cannot find any sign of life. Forced by his hunger, Luigi has no choice but eat his own brother. When the rescue squad was dispatched, they found Luigi had a mental breakdown and start to live in his own world where he thinks his brother is right next to him.
Back in the mental institution, Luigi wokes up in middle of night and start to feel someone is approaching him. A demonic form of life walking down the dark hallway looking for souls to consume...

Think of this like a grace period. Voting doesn't start until tonight, so the opportunity has been given as a "Last Call" to get your entries in.

Let me tell you of a unusual tale. The kind of tale that makes your body shiver with delightful fear at the mere mention of a horrifying character. The kind of tale that makes you grin with delight at the mere mention of a wicked being. The kind of tale that begins without trouble but ends with dreadful despair. Let me tell you about the Legend of the Blue Phantom. Once upon a time, there was a little city called Rose Town. It was a friendly place home to the Starlight Festival, an annual event organized by the townsfolk to celebrate The Rain of Comets. The Rain of Comets was a beautiful show of shooting stars darting their way through space, near enough Rose Town for the people in the city to enjoy the marvelous sight. One individual especially awaited the event with utter excitement. It was Gaz, a little boy well-known for his bold nature. Indeed, the kid was brave enough to venture into the dangerous corners of theForest Maze, a devious natural labyrinth where losing oneself inside of it was as easy as taking a walk through it. But maybe the boy's good intentions were protecting him. Indeed, creating new dolls and giving them to other people was the only reason why Gaz would brave the dangers of the Forest. He needed the best wood for his dolls to be perfect, and the trees of the Forest provided him of everything he wanted. But this time, the boy had prepared an event of his own for the Festival. He intended to go deeper inside of the forest and make his favorite doll reach for the Star Road, this utopian realm where all wishes came true. “And how do you plan to do that?” The boy's father asked. “I'm going to bring my Star Launcher to the center of the Forest Maze!” Gaz explained while proudly showing off his wooden-wheeled cannon. “Once that's done, I will put my doll Geno inside of it and BAM! He will reach the Star Road in no time!” Amused and intrigued by his son's idea, the father decided to accompany him inside of the Forest for more safety, much to the mother's displeasure. When the duo finally reached the center part of the forest, Gaz placed his cannon in position and aimed for the sky. He put his doll and its signature blue cape inside of the Star Launcher. “May Geno become a great Star Warrior”, the boy chanted, “one that will allow all souls to access the Star Road!” Gaz lighted the wick of his cannon and Geno was launched away with a fiery detonating sound. On that moment, a shooting star passed above Gaz and his father. Seeing it as a good sign, father and son hastily went back home to enjoy the rest of the festivities, abandoning the Star Launcher where it was. The anxious mother greeted them back and decided to finally forbid Gaz to go back to the Forest Maze ever again. But after some sly negotiations, the punishment was altered: the boy promised to never go back to the center of the Forest, but he could still collect the wood he needed for his creations not too far from his house. He could not go look for his Star Launcher, but he could always build a new one. And soon enough, every soul of Rose Town had forgotten about the little doll with a blue cape that had been launched into the Star Road... ***** Years later, Gaz found himself looking for wood again inside of the Forest Maze. Though it was getting dark, the bold teenager was determined to find what he sought for a brand new doll he wanted to create. And as his search continued, Gaz realized that he was not alone anymore. Crack. The sound of brushwood being crushed by someone else's footsteps invaded the boy's ears. He stopped and looked back. “Probably another wild animal”, he thought with little conviction. He knew that the noise could only be made by boots, but he also knew that no other inhabitant of Rose Town would dare come near the Forest. Crack. There it was again. This time, Gaz decided to find who was in the forest beside him. He carefully followed the noise and was appalled to discover who was its owner. Deep brown wooden boots were moving at a calm pace next to an old tree. They were attached to equally wooden legs with a lighter shade of the same brown. Crack. Another brushwood crushed. A blue cape tied around the shadow's neck was swiftly following the movement of the legs as the character's progression across the woods continued. An astonished gasp escaped from the spying teenager's throat, and the remembered figure turned around, giving him a soulless glare from its painted red eyes. Gaz stared back and focused his look upon the blue cap with a golden wind-up key drawn on it. There was no mistake. It was him. “Greetings, Gaz.” said Geno in a surprisingly human voice. “Fancy meeting you here. I never had the chance to thank you for making me a... Star Warrior.” “But... It's impossible!” exclaimed Gaz. “If you're here, it means that you never reached the Star Road!” “Oh... I did reach it. Without it, I could not be talking to you right now. But rest assured! I will accomplish my mission. Soon... The fortunate souls pure enough to reach the Star Road shall be selected. And I shall guide them personally to their shining fate. Be prepared...” A mysterious smile grew on the oversized doll's face as it disappeared between the dark trunks of the forest. Gaz forgot about the wood he wanted to collect and hastily came back to his home to warn his parents about his dreadful encounter in the Forest Maze. Unfortunately, the boy's parents did not believe him and urged him to stop going to the wicked forest, at least until the next Rain of Comets. Gaz had no other solution but to oblige. When the Rain of Comets finally came, everything went as usual: the beautiful shooting stars dashed through the night sky, a marvelous Starlight Festival was organized, and everyone enjoyed the event like they should. So much, in fact, that Gaz began to think that his encounter was a mere hallucination. Until the first arrow came down. Tchac. There was no sound. No blood. Not a single movement. Just a motionless victim with an arrow planted in its head. A sudden shriek resounded in the air, and the festive aura of Rose Town disappeared as swiftly as it came. Everyone turned back to witness the victim, an old man simply walking away from the feast. He was as still as a statue, and none of the agitation around him seemed to bother him. Tchac. Another arrow planted in another victim's head. This time, a concert of screams accompanied the event, and people started running for their lives. Tchac. Tchac. Tchac. Tchac. Arrows kept randomly falling in the city, paralyzing those who did not have the time to find a shelter. Remembering Geno's words, Gaz was certain that this horrible event was his creation's doing. But as the rain of arrows continued, Gaz had no choice but to remain in his house for the moment. When the night finally came, the arrows had stopped falling from the sky, but people were still afraid of going out. Crack. A familiar sound came to the boy's ear. He looked his window and saw a blue-hooded figure dragging away several of the paralyzed victims. His heart pounding in his chest, Gaz left the protection of his house and gave chase to Geno. Following the doll across the Forest Maze was much more difficult than Gaz imagined, especially during night time. But the shining stars were by his side, and Geno was slowed down by the bodies he was carrying with him. At long last, Geno's march ended and Gaz found himself gazing at a strange altar with wooden cannon on top of it. Agape, the spying teenager realized that it was his very one Star Launcher, and that Geno was gathering the statue-like bodies around it. “Oh, hello again, Gaz!” The boy looked up, surprised. “Such perfect timing! You are about to witness the first soul finally reaching the Star Road! Please take a good look...” A gloomy smile stuck upon his face, Geno put one of the bodies inside of the wooden cannon and fired up. Gaz saw with horror the body going upwards, higher and higher above the clouds, before being taken back to the ground at full speed by gravity. Gaz had most certainly never heard such a repulsive sound of his life. Without looking, he knew that the body had been utterly crushed, and there was nothing he could do now. “Looks like this one wasn't worthy...” said a calm Geno. “how about the next one?” Another body was put inside the Star Launcher. Another body flew above the clouds. Another body was crushed against the ground. “NO! STOP! STOP THIS MADNESS!” The desperate cry intrigued the doll. “Why should I stop? He had to- Tchac. Geno lowered the bow he had put out of his hood. “Meet my dear friend: Bowyer. I had a hard time taming him on my own, but with a little practice and some poisonous mushrooms, he became a really... Obedient ally.” The wicked doll approached his former master. “Beware the forest's mushrooms,” he said in a joking tone. “But if you wanted to join the Star Roadbefore anyone else...You simply had to ask. I shall finally grant your wish.” Gaz could not even scream or cry for help. He could only watch himself being transported to his doom by his own creation. “Here we are!” joyfully concluded Geno. “You know, Gaz, even with you gone, I will keep on doing my duty during each Rain of Comets. I am sure I will find lots of souls to guide here.” With his frozen smile on the face, Geno installed Gaz inside of the Star Launcher. A sudden thought came back to the teenage boy's mind. “May Geno become a great Star Warrior! One that will allow all souls to access the Star Road!” How twisted could a simple wish really become? Geno lighted the wick of his cannon and Gaz was launched away with a fiery detonating sound. He did not feel his departure to the sky; nor did he feel his brutal descent back to the ground.

[spoiler]Legend of the Blue Phantom
He will reach the Star Road in no time!”
Amused and intrigued by his son's idea, the father decided to accompany him inside of the Forest for more safety, much to the mother's displeasure.
When the duo finally reached the center part of the forest, Gaz placed his cannon in position and aimed for the sky. He put his doll and its signature blue cape inside of the Star Launcher.
“May Geno become a great Star Warrior”, the boy chanted, “one that will allow all souls to access the Star Road!”
Gaz lighted the wick of his cannon and Geno was launched away with a fiery detonating sound.
*****
Years later, Gaz found himself looking for wood again inside of the Forest Maze.
Star Warrior.”
“But... It's impossible!” exclaimed Gaz. “If you're here, it means that you never reached the Star Road!”
“Oh... I did reach it. Without it, I could not be talking to you right now. But rest assured! I will accomplish my mission. Soon... The fortunate souls pure enough to reach the Star Road shall be selected. And I shall guide them personally to their shining fate. Be prepared...”
A mysterious smile grew on the oversized doll's face as it disappeared between the dark trunks of the forest.
“Oh, hello again, Gaz!”
The boy looked up, surprised.
“Such perfect timing! You are about to witness the first soul finally reaching the Star Road! Please take a good look...”
A gloomy smile stuck upon his face, Geno put one of the bodies inside of the wooden cannon and fired up.
“how about the next one?”
Another body was put inside the Star Launcher. Another body flew above the clouds. Another body was crushed against the ground.
“NO! STOP! STOP THIS MADNESS!”
The desperate cry intrigued the doll.
“Why should I stop? You are the one who gave me my mission. And I shall fulfill it, no matter what.”
Gaz rushed to the top of the altar. He had to stop Geno. He had to stop his madness. He had to do something. He had to-
Tchac.
Geno lowered the bow he had put out of his hood.
“Meet my dear friend: Bowyer. I had a hard time taming him on my own, but with a little practice and some poisonous mushrooms, he became a really... Obedient ally.”
The wicked doll approached his former master.
“Beware the forest's mushrooms,” he said in a joking tone. “But if you wanted to join the Star Roadbefore anyone else...You simply had to ask. I shall finally grant your wish.”
Gaz could not even scream or cry for help. He could only watch himself being transported to his doom by his own creation.
“Here we are!” joyfully concluded Geno. “You know, Gaz, even with you gone, I will keep on doing my duty during each Rain of Comets. I am sure I will find lots of souls to guide here.”
