I finished A and 35 now (and also removed an outline in one of the tiles):

Image

I used the Mario on the flag pole as a base (since I can't seem to make a good Mario that is in a very small size) for the Mario in A. Wallop and the Blokkablok's spike in the behind aren't that great IMO, but it's pretty much all I can do in an isometric angle.

Is it me or is Peach's castle lacking in depth? It almost looks like a cardboard cut-out.

Making a building in an isometric space is very difficult, but yeah, I see it too.

Yeah, Peach's Castle appears to have a case of banding. I'll try to fix that at some point.

it's not just that, it's constructed without any actual depth to the shape. it looks flat because there's no real shading to it, too.

For the record, I'm still for ending this one. Collaboration badges should be given out for effort, but at the rate things are going it'll take years to finish this, if ever.

I'm voting for SMM as the next theme because I don't think there's anything better than that right now.

I doubt a new one would have bigger participation.
Let's just make it so we can add Mario Maker elements to this one and see how that affects the whole picture.

You will take control of four playable characters which rise against a team that seemingly wants to take over the world - but are their motives really that cliché, or are there deeper motives behind their actions?

maybe you could make a smaller collab with a lower skill floor.

Some people just might be intimidated by the isometric angle.

That's the whole point of the isometric collaboration. They've existed for ages, and they are there to create something really cool looking

i think part of it is that mfgg's userbase doesn't have as many competent/long time spriters as it once did. obviously this one is enormous (oops) but maybe we could trim it down to just the mario part and make that mario maker. i dunno how that'd work though, how do you represent mario maker when it itself exists to represent the older mario games?

EDIT: oh wait the mario part is gone

There is a lot more to Mario Maker than its representation of other games.
