Welcome! I would recommend posting it in Development Showcase since that's where people post their games. The Arts Board is usually just for the graphics and sound side of things. |

hey, i'm moogle. i'm an amateur writer and a (former) game design student. i don't particularly have any interest in making fan games, but i love the idea of them and am always down for seeing some cool projects here. |

hello moogle! i am vimimin, but you can call me vimimin welcome to mfgg! cool projects, we have a lot of them! deey's over there doing his mario 1 remake using those neat mit sprites, we have that thunder dragon indie spiritual successor to psycho waluigi (a popular fangame around here, got a lot of noteworthy attention outside of the fangameosphere even) and of course you have me who is working on communist mario: mario visits his great uncle in the ussr 2, the sequel to the hit minigame comp winning entry that may or may not be a "cool" project hope you enjoy your stay around here! i don't usually post in this thread at all but it's 3 AM over here so i figured why not |

thanks vimimin! yea, those projects sound interesting. i'll definitely make sure to check them out when i get the time. i've actually heard about psycho waluigi before, it was how i found out about this site in the first place lol |

excellent! oh, you're welcome! there are also plenty of other cool projects being worked on and some already out, also, don't be too concerned with not really making any fangames yourself (i'm not sure you're not but you know), we have a lot of people who do other cool things around here like art and music and stuff like that (sometimes all of the above *COUGH*me) and even just posting around and providing feedback and contributing to discussions is always more than enough |

nah, don’t worry, i’m not really that concerned over it. if i ever do start on an indie project, i’ll probably post it here but otherwise i’m totally content with just contributing to discussions and the like. i do have some game design know-how so hopefully my advice will be of use. |

 Hi boys and girls, my name is Hiro-sofT  I'm a 24 years old guy from Germany with a passion about game development, drawing and gaming. I like self crafted stuff and a lot of creative things. That's also why streaming is one of my things I want to do as well. I'm also known for having not that much time for everything, since I always have to deal with a private life, which steals a lot of my time. Still, it's mostly for importend stuff, so that's fine  . If it comes to anything in terms of creative stuff, I always like to create my own custom stuff. For example, anything graphicwise on the YouTube group channel, known as the "RPGDreamlandYT", my Twitch livestreams (layout, banner, etc.) and most of my newer game attempts is selfmade. I just love the feeling, if you crafted something on your own. Mostly I was known for a project called "Panel de Pon RPG" or just simply called "Lips Adventure", on the RPG Maker 2003 engine, which I cancelled for multiple reasons (which I will not mention here). Since back than I didn't stop improving my skills of course. I will properly start a spritethread of my own (there is still room for improvement), in which I can show you my current results. I also currently work on a mobile game for android called "Fungi Cappani", which is going to be a Kirby inspired platformer. With this, I want to create a good platformer on the android system. I'm using Game Maker Studio for this project (which I perfer personally over RPG Maker anyway). I also play Super Mario Maker, which easily became one of my favorite games of all time. With current 79 levels and 2725 stars, I'm on my way to improve my level designing abilities, by building levels which are mostly fair and and either challenging or fun (besides that one, shameful Kaizo attempt there  ). I'm also a person who has a big interest in how other videogames work (why for example a game glitches out or unseen/unused stuff).I hope, that we will have a happy, interessting and especially creative time  .
