An award for ripping sprites isn't worth it - it definitely doesn't take the talent or effort that the other awards grant for.

There are submission badges which a good ripper can earn for ripping a lot of stuff, probably a big help badge or something like that. But yeah, you can't really judge rips based on how good the rip is since all it comes down to is avoiding white space and arranging them nicely, and that's pretty much what is needed to get your stuff accepted in the first place.
