as most people now know, i am bad at spriting. i have relentlessly tried to improve, but as of now, i'm still at square one. what i ask of anyone who reads this, it's to find spriting tutorials and i'll give them a shot. thanks.

you learn by experimenting. just making little squares with stuff inside them won't help you all that much. there's really not a lot that a tutorial will teach you that you won't learn yourself naturally by experimenting. the only things you'd really need to "learn" with pixel art is the specific dos and don'ts (which you can find anywhere and you probably are already well aware of them anyway) and some definitions for things people will point out to you in review. other than that it's fairly straight forward, but don't forget you won't suddenly become amazing at pixel art over night.
